Richards launched a furious rant at two black hecklers during a standup show in Los Angeles last weekend.

There is this little difference originating from this small event called slavery, something I dont recall the Irish or anyone else being a victim of. Following slavery specifically, the necessity to distinguish between african, those born on the mainland, and african american, those born here, became an issue, largely in the black community itself.

Black is easier anyways, I never refer to myself as half "african america." I also dont know any black people that have a problem with being called that, and if they do, they are just ultra sensitive for no reason, considering just 40 years ago (and definately some people still today) called us colored or negro.

Jews weren't enslaved in America. Also, the enslavement of Africans, not just in America, lasted roughly 400 years. I do not know what Jewish enslavement was longer than that, if you are thinking of their enslavement in Egypt, that lasted about 100 years. And I can debate the harshness of the terms compared to African enslavement too.
