I've done a ton of sidequests, spent about 3hours fishing, etc. Just exploring is so much fun, which is why I'm 'not very far', but have a lot of playtime.

Wow, Dungeon 4's item was totally unexpected, and the following boss fight was really sweet.

That, and the cutscenes afterwards reminded me how much I love Zelda, and how hard it is gonna be to wait til the next Wii version

Dungeon Six Question: So I'm in the Temple of Time, and not very far in. I'm in this circular room that has a little lower area in the center with a ton of little snail things in it, but that is blocked off by an electric barrier. There are a bunch of closed gates and stairs that lead no where. What do I do? I bet I'm missing something obvious. (like every time I've gotten stuck in this game) Also, what do I do to those bell things hanging from the ceiling? I tried hitting them with the ball and chain, but that does nothing.

Answer: Just ignore them for now - you'll use them after the mid boss

Dungeon Seven Question; I'm at the last part got the Boss key and can't figure out how to get to the last ball thingy to activate the wind fan to the boss room, anyone know how to reach it? (I'll prolly slap myself really hard for this but I cant think of any more ways =/)

Dunno if you still need help with that dungeon 7 question, but here's the answer for future reference if anyone needs, as it tripped me up as well. However, the solution is pretty clever (not to mention incredibly obvious once you figure it out), so you might want to explore a bit more:

You know the room you got the boss key in? Look above it, and there will be one of the hangy things - clawshot onto it, which will make the fan below you stop. now drop down below, then clawshot onto the ceiling, and lower yourself til you are in range of the hangy thing in the 'big room', clawshot onto that, and voila! The fan will start and you can move across

Definitely an amazing game, besides the absurdly easy boss fights. So how long til the next one? D:

ok so this whole fishing shit is pissing me off. I'm up to where you gotta fish up the red whatever fish by the mother/son stones. The first fishing shit in the original town to feed the cat to advance took me forever to do now this shit i just can't figure out. Is there some special trick to fishing that i just don't know. I read the manual 12 times and it just says moved the controller up and down to lure the fish and then pull it up once it snags but it's just not working. How the fuck do i catch a stupid red fish so i can advance on.

I'm pretty sure actually telling you how to fish isn't spoilers, so I'm not gonna reduce it to tiny text:

When you cast the line, just let it sit there, and watch the bobber. When it submerges a good bit, snap the controller back into a vertical position to hook the fish, then just pull back to drag it in.

Also, for those that don't know, there's a game breaking glitch, where if you save at a certain point between dungeons 6 and 7, you're stuck forever... I'll post where this happens in vague and descriptive(spoiler) forms, so you can avoid it:

Vague: Don't save in the cannon room!

Descriptive: Once you get all of the letters from the sky book, and move the statue in the basement of the Kakariko house, make sure you warp the cannon, and DO NOT SAVE AND QUIT THERE, or else you'll reload in the room. Shad will have disappeared, but will still stop you from leaving the room. You can't warp the cannon, because Midna says he's still there. To progress, you need to talk to Shad, but you have no way of doing so

Easy boss fights disapoints me...but from what I've learned beating the game on three hearts alone = hard mode.
