I really felt that this was by far the easiest zelda I've ever played. There's no "Water Temple" like dungeon that is just mindrackingly hard, and I bullrushed through the game in a pretty short amount of time. I enjoyed the hell out of it, and I'm just now exploring all of the stuff I passed, but I feel kinda sad. I mean, you're never in any type of real danger unless you're just terrible at the game. Eh, I think I'll go play windwaker again.

I gotta agree... the Water Temple in Ocarina makes baby jesus cry... not to mention the annoying Majora temples that makes the Water Temple look like a kiddie pool.

I actually bought Windwaker, but I want to finish up TP first before I play that (also got the 4-in-1 GCN Promo CD that has Ocarina, Majora, and Zelda 1/2... should replay those.)

I hate any part of a game where you have to swim so I don't mind if there's no Water Temple. The Water Temple in OoT was the temple I enjoyed the least. Same with Super Mario 64, the Jolly Bay course (I think?) was really boring.

I think the Water Temple in OoT was kind of overrated in terms of difficulty.. it is long don't get me wrong, but not really that difficult persay.
Just get all the keys you can before opening any doors, and you will be fine. The hardest part was figuring out where to go at the very beginning of the dungeon. And there are no difficult, hard enemies in the dungeon either.
Dark Link was one of the most fun fights/boss battles ever, and that main boss was a fucking pain in the ass.
But I never thought the Temple itself was as hard as everyone makes it out to be.. my 2 rupees.

Nothing in Ocarina is HARD once you have over 5 hearts... but it's difficult in terms of length and the puzzle itself... (the whole, let's climb to this floor, lower the water this much, find this switch to put it lower, and another to put it in the middle, bla bla bla.) It got extremely frustrating IMO. (then again, after 2-3 times of going through it I know the path by heart.)

Also, the boss fight in the water temple is insanely easy IMO... run around, hookshot the eye to you, shield stabs/smack it around with the biggoron sword.

There is no save once you beat it..but you can save in the room before the final fight and you will load up at the entrance of the dungeon.

Didn't read anything in this thread because I simply do not want to be spoiled at ALL. But I think this is the best place to ask this...

Does anyone have the OST that they can send me? Please PM me if you do, cause I'm not checking back here in order to avoid spoilers.

The OST is horrible and only has 6 tracks on it...

Go to Bluelaguna.net and download the unofficial OST they made there... it's pretty much all the good music from the game, it was worth it. (and all the tracks on the OST are actually recorded by them in their onofficial list, so it's all good and not like you're missing anything.)

Ninja edit: here's a direct link:

I'm only to the point where you reunite with Ilia, but I'm loving it. Very fun game. Playing it sparks memories of playing the zelda's on N64...btw, does anyone know any way that I can play Majora's Mask? Other than the GC promo disc and the N64 cart.

Either find the rom and play it on an n64 emulator, or just wait for Nintendo to release it on the VC.

The promo discs go for like 50 bucks on ebay though, it's how I got mine and i'm loving it. (and it's actually pretty nice, because I finally got to play Ocarina of Time again after so many years...I never owned a GCN, so buying the promo disc for the Wii was one of the best things I could've done.)

Beat it! Thanks for all the messages about the OST. Epical sent me a copy (with 22 songs, so not sure why you think there are only 6 ) It was a really really great game. Easy (not ff12 easy though) and the end fight/cutscene was just....holy.shit.cool.

Question: What's the 3rd outfit you can get for Mr. Sexypants?

If you did the 2 minigames where you help Malo take over the shop in castle town, it only costs 598... that armor basically makes you more or less invinsible (and stronger as well), at the cost of about 2 rupees/second.

It's worth it for some situations, like versus Ganondorf at the end (using it at the final fight makes ganon a hellovalot easier, especially if you have a giant wallet and 1000 rupees in it.)

And as for that soundtrack... the one nintendo released to the public had 6 in them (they're all over ebay, target was selling them when zelda first came out with the wii), so i'm not sure what he sent you.

    That wasn't random at all.

Also, I believe it was mentioned that the "Official" OST had about 6 songs while the unofficial that bluelaguna.net and others made have around 22. Anyway, gogo Scorpion? o.O

Edit: Direct link again to show. http://bluelaguna.net/music/zelda-twili ... k/mp3s.php

Notice it's the "Unofficial OST".. around 16-17 songs I think, a few pictures from the OST and an already made playlist.
