DM's in my LS, when he posted this he asked me how long I thought it would go on for; I told him 20 pages and he thought it was funny.

Listen to me....I checked him two or three times right before he cast a spell. The gear posted is the gear he was using. Sure he could've been lying about his merits but that adds what 3 more INT? Pretty sure he was using cookies as well but not sure. Only other explanation is Food.

I just feel that it's far more likely that he had 8-9 more INT or 4 more MAB than you claim he did--whether by an error on your part or his part--than that the rules governing magic damage went on some kind of vacation during your party.

To the poster, did you have /whm sub in that manaburn and he had /rdm? If so rdm sub will add a little more damage.

It is pretty safe to say that a hume blm fully meritted with the best gear will do just enough damage as a fully meritted and similiarly equipped taru BLM. The difference in INT would be around 10 (if both were capped) and that would translate to maybe 50 more damage tops. The taru should not have that more mp either unless they went 8/8 mp merits and disregarded their number one weakness...

Only gear still left that can improve my max damage is that sea torque(+5 int), before ugg pendant is active and sorc belt(1 more int). I highly doubt any hume can top that. Can only be matched by another taru.
