Did you miss the part where the CIA guy (the black guy--is he Jeffery Wright? fuck if I know) was actually with Le Chiffre?
Are you thinking of how MI6's inside man was working with Le Chiffre?

So le chiffre's wouldn't be able to pay his investors and thus making them want to kill him.
haven't bond already killed his investor? that african warlord?

and even if he had more than one investor that wanted him dead, it still wouldn't matter, just grab him before the game even begins instead of leaving it to chances on a poker table.. i mean if the african warlord could get into his room so easily so could the CIA right?

still don't see a point to the gamble whatsoever

The point wasn't to arrest Le Chiffre, it was to force Le Chiffre to have to talk - rat out his terrorist contacts, etc. in order to offer him protection. I think the idea was that even if arrested, Le Chiffre wouldn't give the British Government the info they needed, unless he needed them to protect him.

Its a Bond movie, so you don't really have to dissect the plot, however, even Vesper makes the comment on the train, "oh, so there is a plan? I thought we were leaving everything up to a game of luck."

There were multiple investors, but more than that, the entire organization wanted to kill Le Chiffre unless he could redeem himself. Beating him at poker, i.e., not giving him a chance to get the money back fast enough, was the quickest way to make sure Le Chiffre actually cooperated with MI6 / CIA since he was a deadman if they released him.

I didn't exactly get that part either. Felix seemed like he was going after Le Chiffre immediately after the game ended, and Vesper got the txt msg saying that Felix had made contact with Le Chiffre during dinner too.

I wasn't really sure what happened to Felix after the game. To whoever said Felix was working with Le Chiffre, no, just no.
