lol, it seems like every time a new system comes out, people always must find ways to play older games on them. I am so happy there are people like this.

The wii was meant to play older games, you just had to pay for 'em.

Last I checked, didn't roms have the .swc extension?

Firmware update incoming i'm guessin' for the Wii.

VC is too expensive. $5 for a NES game that came out when I was 6? Bah. It'd be a good deal if you were getting the actual cartridge, but this is just a bunch of 1's and 0's. A jpeg consumes more space than these things. Nintendo should take a page from Apple's book. $.99 seems good for an NES game to me.

I think SNES roms are .smc? Haven't played mine in a while.

The worst thing is, they come with no new features. How pathetic, it's almost a 100% profit. I really hope they are not surprised by this, I'd like to see what Reggie says.

Hasn't Nintendo been trying to get Intec to stop producing AR for their consoles for quite some time now?

You mean aside from porting, testing, distribution, re-negotiating licensing fees, et cetera?

Has anyone tried downloading old games on their Wiis pay-to-play style? Or is that not available yet?

It's available. There's some video tutorials on how it's done on Youtube.

Considering some of the prices I've seen on the XBOX360 games, seems pretty comprimising to me. >.>; Though it is still a bit high. Should be lowered to like $1, $3, and $5.

All I need to know is: Are Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, and 3 available? I'll be buying a Wii soon as soon as I pay off my credit card.
