Let me clarify it for you professor. I think that not everyone is a little racist, i also dont think that everyone buys into stereotypes. To use stereotypes as a template as how a certain group of people MAY act is ok, but to say that they all act or look a certain way because of a stereotype is narrow minded.

There are such things as racist stereotypes (lol only black people join gangs). That is a racist remark because it is commenting on race. Calling someone a nigger, on the other hand, is a racism remark and NOT a stereotype, therefore these are not synonyms.

And you said some people never buy into any stereotypes, I was just quickly dispelling that myth. If you feel you are "above" all of those stereotypes, then yes, you do think you are better than everybody else.

Why would i think im better than everyone else because i don't buy into stereotypes? I simply chose not to assume anything, till i can analize people for myself. And i can't say im better than everyone else, because put simply, I would need to be able to do EVERYTHING better than everyone else to think that, and last time i checked i don't have a niggerbeam.

Mel Gibson directed Braveheart and has been the producer of a number of his decent/good movies. He's a great actor and very good director, crazy or not. I don't care what you think about the content of Passion, it was a really well made movie.

As far as the whole racist thing going on, everyone has some degree of racism in them, but most are smart enough not to fking slur anything out in front of a camera.
