on Hades they got some RMTs that camp Gil NMs. Good job SE for trying.

Sky is still flooded with RMTs.

But as mentioned before, RMTs were banned before this and new faces were introduced. Its not hard leveling characters anymore, and getting them all Sky. So, for the time being, everyone rush to your nearest NM/Sky and get as many drops as you can, before the RMTs strike back.

Its during times like these that we, the players must also contribute our part to getting rid of the RMT scum. Obviously after a mass ban, we can expect a string of new RMT leveling up. This is where we step in. You see a newbie RMT party exping? KILL THEIR EXP MOBS. Put spikes up and cure bomb them. Diaga all the mobs. All excellent attempts at putting a stop to their progress. No exp = no leveling up = no level 75 jobs to camp NMs with. Doesn't take much to create a diversion. Everyone bitches about the RMTs, but do little to combat them. SE is finally doing something good, but we should give them a helping hand.

RMTs can just simply call GM on you, I got jailed oh so many times before for MPKing/giving them a hard time.
im not going to waste time fighting for SE then get jailed, my job is to have fun. SE's job is to secure that.

I agree with you Firas, I wouldn't go to the extent of screwing with the RMTs to where I would get banned myself, but there are ways of doing it while looking fairly innocent (Also, quite a few of them are too dumb or don't know better to call a GM). If you're simply in the same area as them and you want to kill their exp mobs (say that you're "farming", or "skilling up" ), there is no rule against simply killing mobs. Even cure bombing them to grab the attention of their mob and have it hit you with spikes up so they receive no exp, can be countered with "Oh I was just trying to PL them". Just don't be stupid about it and say "Hey guys im gonna MPK some RMTs" where a GM can read the log lol.

Why didn't asuras rmt get banned like all the other servers? Marlow(a.k.a If I close my eyes and beleive hard enough I can EES+Shadowbind Faust the moment he pops, from anywhere in the room) is still in sky with all our RMTs, bleh.

Wafik, I'm sure Asuras RMT and many of the RMT that are still left over on some servers that didn't get banned will get the stick next time around. SE's employees are only human and if they have to "investigate" then that takes some time. I'd keep faith because I can see a lot more bannings still to come.

Whether or not a player should do something against RMT is up to the player. No player wants to go out of their way to mess with a few RMT, but if you're just passing by why not spend a couple minutes messing with them.

On another note will this mean this end for some online FFXI RMT companies?

likewise on phoenix. some members in my ls went up there and there were still about 2 parties of them. but that's at least half of them gone

They got rid of a handful of ghetto HNM RMTs, but Sky and Sea RMT are untouched on Hades.
The up and coming blm and smn zerg groups are about 2 days away from replacing the few that were banned.

eh, there prolly about 18 total in sky atm, was up to like 40+ for a bit there tho. Although, seems there are like no RMT anywhere else, Castle Oz, Temple Ugg, SSG, Kuftal, ToAU areas all basically empty. (RMTwise)

Chilled in Sozu room a bit and there was nobody there at all. Walking through Kuftal and I spotted an unclaimed Amemet walking about, pretty odd sights to see now.

Not seeing some of the big name RMT any more either. Still soon after update tho, looking good atm tho. ^^

I don't think you realize how bad our Sky (and Sea in alot of instances) RMT are, in terms of cheating at least, how flooded our server is with gilsellers has been well documented over the years. Wafik and I can both attest to directly watchiing them POS hack in front of us and GMs doing absolutely nothing when we call them (I can think of at least 3 times I've watched them POS hack and GMs have done nothing). And lo and behold, come the recent set of bannings said POS hackers avoid the ban stick once again.

Those pictures are fairly old in Yrpaine's post, those guys have all been 75 for quite a while now with full god gear and whatnot <_<;

yesterday i was exping at 42 off of soldiers in the hallway before you get into the open area. 4 blm's, 1 brd, and a nin, all 37, thats right 37, were manaburning the soldier's. It's obvious they were rmt, their gear was shit, all sandy rank 1, and their PL was a known RMT to my knowledge when they needed someone to raise their asses cause they didn't know how to time their nukes right. Looks like some chinamen don't know how to push 4 buttons at the same time.

The lower tier ones who monopolize oztroja and shit we started to care less for are/were gone. Haven't checked recently, but already replacements are there. I love how every jumped on the bandwagon that it was fixed, least i got a good laugh out of it. Pessimism and FFXI are like peas and carrots.

This is pretty pathetic.

On the day of the bannings, Sky was completely empty and our LS managed to get a Ullik, uncontested. Shortly after that, I went to work and then tried for another but unfortunately we didn't get it. With Sky being so empty and barely no LSs coming to benefit from this, we decided to get some more triggers and did a Byakko (first in awhile, I must say) and others. I was quite happy...

This morning when I woke up, I checked Sky to see if Sky was still not packed and to my surprise, I see weird, named characters. I couldn't believe CGFs could have leveled that fast after such a recent banning. I went up to investigate and it was in fact true. About 7-8 taru BLMs, 2 PLDs, 1 NIN and other useless jobs all at Ullik. Nice try SE...
