1 Toys r' us, 1 EB, 1 Gamerama, 1 source, 1 future shop and 1 best buy near me all sold out. But last week I saw a riot at Toys r' us because they lied about how many Wii's they were going to get. The fathers went nuts and tore the place apart.

The shipments have only been like 5 consoles or less, doesn't look like i'm getting one until after Christmas, because nintendo pulling a Sony on us.

I got in line at EB on friday for one at 6:30, the place opened at 7, and they only had 3 to sell (apparently they oversold their preorders somehow). Le sigh...this whole "having a job" thing is going to keep me from getting a wii unless I get really lucky on my lunchbreak one day.

I should add Bestbuy is based out of Minneapolis, but I still don't think thats related.

I'd ask Gamestops and EBs in the area and call around, a friend of mine is a manager of one and has gotten an extra shipment or two, and took people's numbers/called them when they arrived. I didn't need to be called. :D

I checked out the small Sears store about 10 minutes from my house. They still have like 4 or 5 Wiis to buy. Of course all the big named stores are going to be sold out for a long long time. I bet if you at least call the smaller ones (like a K-mart or some shit) you'll have better luck at finding a system.

Finally got mine :D

I went into Gamestop yesterday to see if they had any more controllers, and noticed they already had a couple games marked as used. I did a double take, couldn't believe my eyes. Just, wtf people lol.

-.- Got mine Sunday, 4th of 42 tickets handed out at Best Buy.

Best part, was seeing the woman stroll up with coffee... all warm, and definitely NOT freezing from standing in the rain for 5 hours, at about 9am and get one of the last tickets.

Found a 2nd Nunchuck today, so the hunt is over... for now.

Every last store I have talked to seems to think they are getting shipments weekly, so... while the demand is still pretty high, it DOES seem like they are trying to supply it.

The store i work at had 2 PS3's and 1 Wii "Lost during shipping" lol Needless to say they handed out more tickets than they had, it didnt end well
