[POLL] What colour is Adaman Hauberk?

Well, the RGB was posted a while back, but heres something I was working on for a bit. At first I was going to remove all the borders so that the questionable color(s) would all have the same background since most human brains process colors in the context of other colors present. Making the borders a uniform color would help to see the true hue...but I got bored with that. Here's that project half finished with some enlarged samples of different pixels from the armor. Some pixels are more blue, while others are more purple. Hopefully this will help people see why some people see it as a different color than they do.

Also there are some really interesting things you can do with perception of color by putting similar colors and different colors next to one another and in patterns. A class dealing with colors and the effects of it on people is offered at my school. Been trying to get into it for three semesters it always fills up really fast though so its hard for Arch students to get into it (Interior Design Class so they get priority) Um anyway look up Color Theory and see what you can find out for yourself its pretty cool shit.

I understand people zooming in a lot and seeing that there is a mix of both purple and blue, but the only thing that really matters is what the eye sees. My sweatshirt is gray, but if you look closely, you can see that there are a lot of white threads in it. It's still gray though.

Blue + Purple = Purple

kinda like clean + dirty = dirty

In a world of absolutes (which as we know, all message boards are), if any color is mixed with blue, it is no longer blue. Purple is already a blend so its much easier to say its still purple when you add another color.
