Here's a tip I learned in preschool. Purple is a deep mix of red and blue. If you see little or no red in something, then it's not purple, it's just dark blue. Purple just happens to be one step away from Indigo, so they naturally look alike.

PS. The bottom of the front part of the breastplate has maybe a tiny hint of purple, I think this is only visible when you don't put heavy shadows on it. SE doesn't do real lighting in this game, so they color things darker/lighter to fake shadows. However, it's not enough purple to be considered it.

PS 2. Majority of BGforums are either colorblind or incredibly stubborn.

hmm.. this is interesting.. i popped open photoshop with those 2 pictures shown of ppl in adaberk.. and with the eyedropper tool i ran over the colour patches and it stays just within the borders of blue touching onto red.. i guess it is a blue o_o

I took the sample you showed, cut out the middle, and gausian'd it 5 times to make it a uniform colour. It's the average of everything you see. Like RGB on a TV when you step back.
