looks blue to me, but i think if you wear it in different settings it'll look more blue or more purple (ie. brighter lighting, darker lighting)

I think that guy said it best before, purple is blue + red. I don't see any red. Hell just look at it next to a comparison of a purple thing (like someone posted barney on the first page, lol) and its not even similar.

purple's base colors are blue + red...

and this always seemed more purple than blue to me, but maybe its just a shade of purple to my eye that has more blue componant than red? XD Like a 30/70 split.

I think the secondary color to the EQ (the little bits of dark purple/red) throw some eyes off.
