So have they made working Roms for these yet? I remember there wasn't a working rom/emulator combonation when they first came out but can we get our hands on a japanese version that works with an emulator now? Anybody have any info?

All ds emulators have really small compatibility lists, none can run those games.

Just get a DS(if you don't have one) and look into getting one of the flash card like supercard, m3, etc. They cost around $50, a nopass device(needed to run NDS roms, unless your flash card acts as a nopass device itself) is around $20-30, and a little memory card would probably go for around another $50, depending on what size you go for.

Got one a few weeks ago, and absolutely love being able to play any DS or GBA game :D

Most DS games are ridiculous to get roms for (even the more popular games) because of the touch screen functions.

NoA hasn't made any announcements for bringing Pearl&Diamond to the US.

Right now, you could say that they might not bring these games over at all, but it's pretty obviously that they eventually will.

Yeah weird to say this but i really want to get my hands on either diamond or pearl and i hope they get english-ized and shipped over soon. I was reading up on them and they look great. The last one i played was crystal maybe? with the blue thing on the front... there is so many fucking pokemon now holy shit, every day at like 5am the new episodes come on (and the song is kinda cool >.> ) and there is just so much things in there... i hear in the new game there will be a new type, poison/dark type @_@. It sucks that it's been so long and I really dont know what the strong ones are, especially since there are so many... I have a bad feeling i'm gonna try to battle some japanese kid online and hes going to own me so hard, but i think that they made so many that now it's just a game of which you think looks best. I can hope :3 I know that playing MarioKart online vs. world is a mistake, I hope pokemon wont be.

You can connect via wifi to trade & battle w/ people.

I haven't played my diamond much cause I've been all-around busy irl (and the fact that I don't know much Japanese <.<) but it's pretty good. Definitly should get people re-interested in the series if you ever liked it at all at any point.
