Libra is a spell.. there is a WHM libra animation in the .dats. if its any job its gonna be RDM or WHM.

does it have spell animation and white magic flowing? or just an animation? Because BST using Gauge does the whm cast animation, RDM chainspell does the whm cast animation, etc.

it has the whm (Floating robe thing) and an actual spell animation.

Doesn't have to be a WHM or RDM spell however, they can always relocate the .dat if needed (the animations for Chain Affinity, Burst Affinity, and Azure Lore all were moved after they found use for them).

You cant have 3 BRDs all seperately elegying. COR amplifying the elegy is kinda nice... Hell COR amplifying slow II works as well.

quick draw doesnt enhance bard songs.

that said, what you said is right. you only need one bard to land elegy.

Wow I always just assumed it did...

In any case if you're landing elegy you're probably landing slow as well and it CAN enhance that.

It doesn't amplify slow ii either, sorry.

Now that is really hard to believe...

Because you actually tested it right? Just like how you were so certain it worked with elegy

I've tested it and it didnt do anything. Whereas it clearly does do something for slow i.

Does Slow cap at a certain percentage like haste does?
If you tested Slow II and Slow I on low level monsters, Slow II may have allready been capped and Slow I wasn't?
Just a thought, but what did you test it on?
Maybe try again unequipping some mnd to 'uncapp' Slow II? (...or use a higher level monster if you used a low one.)
