I say with the utmost confidence that I will win, also I know for a fact my desired title will be denied.

Bump: You can put up entries now. This shit is hard with the point system.
Joined up, dont post much but read alot. Good Luck all.
Vegas Lines:
Ill post the team that is favored to win, and by how many points. These lines are very early and will without a doubt shift before the game, depending on how many people bet on a particular team.

Bear in mind, you aren't picking these game against the spread, this is simply to help people who have never heard of a particular team, and know who's favored to win, and by how many. Again, these lines are very early, so they will undoubtedly shift.
Bump. Don't forget to make your picks!

This is pretty scary... There's a bunch of teams I don't know anything about and the point system makes this even scarier. I don't feel comfortable putting 32 points on anybody![]()
32 points on Ohio State. It's as close to a no brainer as these games get. I've seen Florida play about 5-6 times and Ohio state a few. Florida is gonna get blown out. If they manage to keep it close, however, I would give them the edge as they have played very well in tight games. But i just dont think they have the talent to keep it close.
Ohio state hasn't really played anyone as good as florida all season save michigan. I wouldn't count out Florida by any means. I put my 32 pointer on louisville and i think i put ohio state as 13 or 14. USC vs Michigan was my 1pointer.
I basically put the highest points on the games I need for Wisconsin to finish #3 in the final poll.
This is going to be failure of Epic Proportions.
(not because Wisconsin will lose, of course, but I have a feeling Notre Dame, Wake Forest, and Boise State aren't quite going to pull it off.)
Only two days until the start of the first bowl game, which is the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl. (I shit you not).
You can still sign up after the first few bowl games, but you won't be able to get any credit for the bowl games.
This also serves as a bump to those who have not yet set your picks. The only thing worse than crummy picks is not making picks at all, and seeing your team with 0 points.
Tyche and I are tied, one game in!
(for like 6th place or something)
You're going down tarutaru!
The dude in first place put his 32 pointer on the poinsetta bowl (first game), hence why he's in first after the first game. Scores will start to get all messed by next week
I picked oregon to win tonights game over #19 BYU. That's probably a minority pick since oregon are underdogs. Something just tells me the little BYU mormon boys in vegas are gonna party hard, and completely throw away the football game.
I was wondering about this, now it makes sense, I noticed most of us picked the same team for the first bowl and wondered why there was a disparity in our ranks, good to know.Originally Posted by Tyche
Hey! I'm that dude in first place! (Well, one of them). TCU had the biggest spread in any bowl game, and I never saw one dissenting opinion in the media that said NIU had a real chance. That's why I picked them 32.Originally Posted by Tyche
I live in Oregon, and virtually all of the Portland media in Oregon is giving the Ducks no chance to win, which is unusual. They've suffered a major letdown since starting the season 5-0 or 6-0, they've only showed up to play once in their last 3 games (vs. OSU, and they still lost). Their motivation level is pretty damn low for this bowl game -- their starting RB was quoted as saying "We're looking forward to Christmas." I don't think they really want to be there.Originally Posted by Tyche
That being said, much of that same media gave the Ducks no chance in the Civil War vs. Oregon State, and that game easily could have gone either way. I picked BYU, but only gave them 2 points. Considering how much Duck propaganda I'm exposed to (whether I want to be or not), I'm really perplexed about this game. Which means I won't be in first place after tonight, regardless of who wins.
I'm the other one... >.> Yeah, same reason here. TCU really overmatched NIU and the spread was large. I only have 7 pt confidence in today's game, so regardless of the outcome I'll likely fall out of the lead.Originally Posted by Byrd

Ditto. Great game! Boring, but makes me happy. I'm not surprised that BYU won, but I really expected Oregon to put up some sort of fight, at least wake up a little bit in the second half. But they were clearly disappointed with their season, and did not want to be in that game at all, and it showed.Originally Posted by Avvesione
I realize I am biased, so is it just me or are Oregon's uniforms really that ugly? I thought they were hideous before with the exception of the green helmet with the yellow "O," which I thought was well done. Now they even change the one good part of their uniforms? Good grief.
