if you go to bungie's site they uploaded some new pics, which I do admit look reallllllly nice. So although gameplay graphics won't be THAT refined they will be pretty damn good (think GoW+)

I haven't seen the trailer, but from pics it looks on the same level as GoW, which I could be the peak of 360 graphics. I hope I'm wrong though...

There is no way it is the peak of 360 graphics. The console has been out for roughly one year, and graphics are already looking as good as they do. I think that is more encouraging than something to be worried about.
Look at PS2 games that were released when the system first came out, and then look at FFXII graphics, it is like black and white.
I am sure 360 game developers have nowhere near reached the apex of what that machine is capable of.

I know it's encouraging to see that much level of improvement after a year, but it's still kinda sad that they reached the peak (if they did) so quickly lol.

Word is the beta demo for online deathmatch hits Xboxlive Marketplace in March. I'm guessing free download, but some people are saying "Pfft, it's HALO. Bungie can charge for the demo and ppl will buy it." So, I dunno.

The guys got to playtest the game at Bungies headquarters for the day, playing its multiplayer and got to watch a quick trailer of ingame story footage.

Its a really good read so I'd suggest picking the mag up, and from everything they said, the gameplay in Halo 3 is going to be fking amazing. The trailer showed you the way weapons are handled now too, you still only get two, but now the second weapon is strapped to your back instead of appearing out of thin air.

Would I turn down chocolate because I've had it before? Hell no. Somethings are good enough to have repeat performances.
