I guess Mooglekupo(GS Pos ulli farmer) wasn't so bad in LP's eyes. I remember LP had a name for suspicious hack sightings. I seen a LP mnk fly by me so fast in KRT (in a 2 fps kinda way, and a loong time ago.) while I was farming eyes. It looked glitchy but I remember seeing his name. I also saw a TF member hack in qufim (name starts with Mits or something I think. Elvaan male, also long time ago.). Casted tonko on himself near zone which I thought was weird (before I knew people could use invisible to cover up hacking). At the time TF was gathering for vrtra so I figured maybe he's up to something. Then I searched him after thinking about it and he was in sandy (like seconds later). He shouldn't have been out of the tunnel while its night, with maz, and crimson in the time it took me to search him.

About the everybody bots thing. Eden had a talk about camping in DA after a long time and no claim (we only had to compete with ED, and maybe TG before UP showed up. During that time claims were pretty evenly spread). Wondering if we should quit or just be optimistic , and pray for luck. This was when UP came to DA and started to claim all the time and stopped wiping ( <3 second hand + fafhoggs. Better than nothing). Someone thought that we should probably think of botting also, but it was shot down fast. Mira said she wouldn't even show up if we were to allow botting. I agreed with her (I hate GS, botting, hacking, and anything else that screw this game up for me. I'd be scum just like the people that support GS, and hack/bot if I agreed with botting). And like eden members said, if people in our ls bot, they sure suck (suck at claiming and suck for botting). Not as if i'm encouraging them to bot/bot better, I'd be all for getting them out of the shell if they were caught botting. Even if it was a loyal member. They would understand the decision if they were caught anyway.

I should be on the list: Claimed a faf, and maybe another but no one was sure who claimed first, me or mert. And I know I play on ps2 and wish my pc could play ffxi (HL2, battlefield, so many good online games.)

At least I got a chance to camp nms on my 45thf/10ish war sub in the good days. Then that ended with gilsellers crowding stroper (the most fun while making gil on ffxi at the time for me. Nothing has yet to top it for me. Always moving and active). Then when I moved to VE they soon invaded that area. Now we have botters, and GS who bot. Maybe i'm just way too emo and need to shut up (bet i'm reading minds here). Now when you show up to a camp you have to live with the fact that if someone is afk there, or if no one is there, you either have no competition or a 3% chance of getting that nm. And thats just one thing botting does for the NM system.

It's just a game though right? Why care if you have to spend much more time on attempts, and work much more harder just to do what you could have done when the most common bot was fishing bots (claim a nm).

Edit: About the TF dude that got to sandy after the tonko thing. Maybe his name started like Hito, hitokage? I just know he was elvaan and in TF. Same fuzyness with the LP member, but it was either the one that got the first ridill in LP or the one that also has blm and went to TG. If both have mnk leveled XD

The problem with botting is that NO one is clean anymore. We are all in LSes with botters, whether we know it or not, so we are all accountable whenever we get gear from botted mobs. There is a great chance the ebody or rdill you use was from a botted Fafnir or Nidhogg sadly. I personally do not want to know who bots. I sadly have to just sit back and watch the end game evolution of FFXI continue down this path.

Lol no there isn't because his ridill came from a team up where no one else had the people on to kill it and we helped eden out. We were such a glaring minority in the already smallish alliance that it was surprising eudon even offered us a lot on it. Demyn lost the lot by 308 points to Ploid, I know the number exactly because he sure as fuck wont forget about it >_> (even after he has one too). It's the same way I know mine is clean, faf was up immediately after maintenance and we had like 6 people on in the pit trying not to die let alone claim the thing and stall it till everyone else could log in.

You can't be sure everyone else is botting, everyone else can be sure as fuck you are O_o like I said, unsure self-justification when for all intents and purposes you threw the first stone is pointless.

The ridill I got was after maintenance and faf was walking around. We teamed up with TG and Meowulf got a chance to test out the mp regen and shield mastery.

The heca hat I got was after another maintenance, and you guys invited my rdm 70 (TG+LP).

The heca legs I got was after your shell lost claim (tank died, or something), and after EX wiped.

Not too sure what happened for the E.hands, z.feet, gilfinder hands, and Aegishjalmr.

The reasons I don't think we bot is because we rarely claim, and we have yet to have a afk stunner (if they have, I never noticed or "OMG did blm/drk X just stun while afk" was never seen by me), afk claimer, pos sighting (I haven't noticed someone getting to camp or a event particularly fast*).

Anyone I should keep a eye on?

then sojjiro (eden nin) claimed it solo, we got him in the ally, yay.

History lesson over, heres a rebuttal for you: The only ebody your linkshell has was claimed by ingwe, and has cognatus written all over it.

Edit: had to throw the "he wasnt with us" part in for clarification. Was awesome when I got a tell from a retard in LP congratulating me on a botted ebody when we didnt even win claim. Funny thing, guess what linkshell alliance showed up for the first time the week after that and started pulling everything after that, Ensemble. But yeah, Skif was obviously ours. Morons.

You know, I'd buy into the whole "everyone bots" thing if:

1. the claims were evenly distributed over a long period of time

2. there would be someone- ANYONE that goes to aery that people are like "holy chirst he bots like crazy." I mean...afk claims. You can't even cover it up. It's not like you walked around school with your fly open, you walked around with your fly open and your frank and beans dangling out in plain view.

but if people are going to be that brash about it, and if it seems to work into said people's favor more often than not then well, you have to ask if other folks are really botting. Granted, bots are not what they once were- they are inherrently fallible. You won't beat everyone ever time with a bot, especially if they bring large numbers of people that are smart and attentive. It would not shock me at all if the vast majority of claims were not bots <_<
