    Tavnazia's multiple endings? (spoilers der)

I was at the NPC to record the ending for Tavnazia, when I saw 3 endings, I didn't realize there were 3, but I SS's the dialogue anyway.

The story of dynamis-tavnazia was too retarded for me to understand properly, but it seems like they're talking about Lion (cs.2), Anyone know what triggers the other CS? I'm thinking which/amount of Diabolos killed.

I didn't SS the CS after my LS killed him, we fought the Spade though, someone else in LS may have though.

Which cut scene did you get?

They are probably for different distances in the RotZ and CoP storylines. (One if you haven't beaten RotZ, one if you haven't beaten CoP, and one if you beat both.)

Part 3 says "The dreamer is not the girl who once harbored the Emptiness..." That must refer to Prishe. (Since the Eye of Tavnazia came from the magicite that was embedded in her body."

Part 2 Says "No, there was one more, transformed after death..." That must refer to Lion.

If you remember the Apocalypse Nigh cut scenes Prishe mentioned Lion dreaming her dreams. And Gilgamesh mentions that Lion has nightmares when you get your earring. I would say talk to the door to Prishe's room and Gilgamesh to see if you get anything else after.

Are you sure you only got 3? According to POLUtils there are 4.

Which memory will you have recalled?

There wasn't a 4 on the bard, have you beat Tavnazia and want to check with the bard if you get a 4th?

Also in the .dat is there Dialogue for the 4th CS?

I think Septimus could be right, but if there's a 4th CS maybe it has something to do with which diabolos you kill.

The strange thing is... Usually the bard only gives you cutscenes you already had. Did you beat Tavnazia 3 times already, and do you remember which Diabolos it was on each win ?

I only beat it once on my third attempt.

I think it's just that cop dynamis were rushed so those updates could have content :\

I will check the Tav. bard tonight.

One thing to consider. Our first run, Wafik was not there, and we fought all 4 diabolos. Our second run, Wafik was there and we fought 3? Our third we fought 1 and won.

Perhaps you only "see" the cutscene for the Diabolos Card you kill, but after winning, the bard offers you cutscenes for any Diabolos Card you have spawned?

    Just a wild guess.

I just checked. I have access to all 4.

    Text for the 4th:

Diabolos: The shadow that you defeated had been consumed by the dreamer of this realm.
: It seems that this nightmare was dreamt into existence by beings who came into contact with the Emptiness.
: You know this girl well. I could take care of her easily, but if you wish me to spare her then you will lend me your power.
: Her malice will not perish as long as this dream continues, using my shadows to revive countless times.
: You must confront the nightmare and continue to fight them to keep this realm from spreading.

On a somewhat related note there are 3 "Dawn" cutscenes in seas goblin footprint and all 3 are exactly the same. I still don't understand why theres 3 of the same cs. What is the deal?

There are three points where you can access Al'Taieu to get the Dawn cutscene when doing CoP: Entering from Sealion's Den, Exiting from the Palace, or Escaping from the Palace.

If you pay close attention, your character will be located where you entered the zone from in the cutscene.

Gotcha. Strange, but it makes sense now. Makes sense of a few other similiar situations as well.

There are several cutscenes like that, where there are multiple cutscenes based on where you are in other quests/missions. The first one that I remember seeing was for the quest "One Good Deed" In Boneyard Gully. You get different cutscenes depending on how far you are in the CoP storyline. (But Tiamat appears in all of them.)

I wonder, Lordwaifik do you have Diablos as a summon? Maybe that unlocks the fourth cutscene. (The "lend me your power" part reminds me of avatar cutscenes.)

I have him as a Summon, but Aurik found out how to get all 4 CS as he has them and I don't.

He lead our first Tavnazia and I couldn't attend, and on his run he aggro'd all 4 diabolos. On our next run we aggro'd 2 Diabolos, on this run we aggro'd 1 diabolos, which accounts for my 3, and his first run of 4 accounts for his 4 CS.

A different line of text for each diabolos, and all entirely useless. I really wish it wasnt rushed.

I just went and checked the bard NPC for myself and I have access to all four cutscenes. I've only entered Dynamis-Tavnazia once and beat it on our first attempt (that I was there)... though I don't recall which cutscene I got when I checked it the first time. We only aggro'ed one Diabolos and fought Diabolos Spade.

I have Diabolos as a summon and completed all Zilart + CoP missions + bonus end quest if that means anything.

Ahh that might be it. I've cleared Apoc Nigh, Wafik hasn't. Different cutscenes might be played depending on where you are in CoP/Zilart/AN.

Necrobump, but it actually has information! (Please don't hurt me. ; ;) Our LS just finished Dynamis-Tavnazia tonight, and I remembered this topic when I went to get the ending cutscene after, so I've been asking friends what lines they got, and how far in CoP/RoZ/AN they were.

I only got the first one: "Could it have been that girl...? When I next see her, she will pay dearly." I have completed CoP, but not RoZ (people keep smashing scooter-boy without me.) Most of my friends have AN done, but one who has finished RoZ and CoP but not AN reports that she got the third version.

Judging from the lines I've seen and the bits of plot I've been spoiled on, I feel pretty confident in saying that the conditions are:

    1: RoZ missions not completed
2: RoZ misions completed, CoP not completed
    3: RoZ and CoP completed
    4: AN completed

And I think I understand the CoP Dynamis storyline, although it's a lot less interesting than original Dynamis (tinified for spoilers):

First, remember that "officially" the events of CoP start when Lion throws herself into the works and makes the crystal lines go crazy, so when CoP Dynamis becomes available, Lion has already died. When Lion comes into contact with the Emptiness, it causes her (or whatever is left of her within the crystal) to begin having nightmares. These nightmares are especially powerful and result in the creation of a new space in Dynamis.

Diabolos is not happy about this, because someone has gone and created a new Dynamis without his knowledge or consent (and it has even crappier drop rates than he wanted!) He starts sending out shadows of himself to investigate and report back to him. However, the shadows don't come back, which worries him even more. He enlists you, the stupid-looking adventurer, to go investigate.

The trail leads to Dynamis-Tavnazia, where you find the shadows of Diabolos that have been subverted by Lion's Emptiness-fueled will. You defeat one (or more), helping to prevent this dreamworld from expanding even further and making Diabolos happy for the moment. However, Lion's nightmares are not going to stop any time soon, so you have to keep fighting Diabolos' shadows that will continue to be consumed by the Emptiness within Lion (like the ending of Dynamis-Xarcabard, this is just an explanation for why it continues to exist after you've won.)

This of course does not explain why Lion is a malicious bitch who won't give us relic accessories.

It's pretty much what I surmised then. I like being right.

But anyway here is my tinified response.

It is not so much that Lion is malicious, but that she came into contact with the Emptiness- the embodiment of the will of Promathea. This caused the maliciousness of the dreams, because the will of Promathea is the will of the CoP team, and they will us to suffer crappy drop rates and substandard gear. (Why hello there, Duelist's Belt.)
