They're going to stay together but it won't be a smooth road(as expected).

Fox will blame the ratings drop on House and Cuddy getting together but that isn't the whole problem. The problem is their new relationship is getting way too much attention. It's been the main plot point of every episode this season. They need to drop stuff in there for the 'Huddy' fans while not making people who couldn't care less turn the channel. It's tricky and they need to be more careful with the writing.

on about episode three or four I think. the last one I watched was the one with the crazy old writer lady.

and I agree that they're spending a bit too much time on house/cuddy but I really like the way they're handling the relationship. some of the scenes have been pure genius. the end of the first episode, for example - fucking brilliant. cuddy's response to house's doubting was fantastic, instead of assuring him that things would be ok and that it would all be rainbows and puppies she basically says "yeah you're fucked up. did you think I didn't know that? did you think I haven't taken that into consideration? of course you're going to piss me off. but that's not going to make me break up with you, dipshit."

and then the whole episode where they were going "the boyfriend in me feels like _____ but the employee in me feels that _____" was a cute and clever way of getting around some of their difficulties.

really, given that the tension between them was one of the primary elements that carried the show for so long, I'm impressed by the way they've been able to get the two together and still preserve a lot of that tension. but that's no surprise, skillful writing is what House does best.

I have no idea. So many quote-ables in this house episode. <3 Next week reminds me of Euphoria (I think that was the two parter where forman got disease'd).

It was a reference to when House asked if Masters would lie to her grandma about liking a shitty present. He muttered to himself "So is this the..." (I don't remember what House actually said)

Finished watching a downloaded version between NM windows, really liked the episode. Taub challenging Foreman to a basketball match and it actually happening had me in tears. The ending was a downer and I'm sure it'll hurt their relationship, but it was to be expected eventually. Can't wait for the next one now.

When I saw House weighing the choice I knew he was going to risk hurting Cuddy. Obvious to me he was going to risk possible finding out/relationship stuff that can be talked out possibly over losing a patient, regardless of his recent demeanor changes.

I don't know about ya'll, but this is why I hate using semi-popular actors on multiple tv shows. All I could think about during the whole episode was if some Heroes actor would make a cameo appearance or something, claire jumping out of nowhere to complain about the lieing, or Hiro coming in to freeze time and fake a hep-c test.

I was kinda hoping Cuddy bought up the dime in the poop incident of the last episode, but I guess they moved on to something more serious.

I already hate this new chick, but the story this week was cool. They are obviously having her solve stuff to try to get us to like her...maybe it will work but for now I find her annoying more than anything, occasionally she does something cute though which is all right.

Cuddy is being unreasonable, what a bitch.

House walking in and then his reaction when he realizes it is Small Pox and slowly takes the suit out...that was pretty humbling. Then when the Father died that scene was pretty touching. Maybe the girl should listen next time and not bring back stuff from the ship wreck, ended up destroying her family and almost getting herself killed. Good going, kid.

I don't mind the new girl that much. She's ethical, but she doesn't seem overly emotional. It does get annoying after a time, but at least she seems pretty smart to back it up. Most other times a teammember solves something like that, they back their ass into it or give house the final clue, she recognized one on her own that most would overlook which is pretty unusual for the writers to give a teammember that much talent imo.

Did anyone find out or manage to see what exactly was in the jar? I watched bad quality stream and I didn't get to see it too well.

I think House mentioned it had the scabs of the sick slaves, which had been saved to be used as a vaccine or something.

The only thing that bugs me about this season is the forced relationship drama. They keep rehashing the "this relationship can't work" angle. They wrapped up the lying issue just fine mid-episode, but then at the end Cuddy's like "nvm i stil h8 u."
