Where can I watch this at again? :< Sorry this is asked so often.
what a lame ass episode, they pushed House into a corner and then just let it up like that at the end? maybe it makes sense for doctors learned of the intricacies of the diseases, but for the average audience the ending was deus ex machina to a fault
The only thing I really didn't like is they didn't give the CDC guy shit for how he was doing things. If they had let House + team in there to investigate the whole time like they wanted they would've saved the father. But he didn't get yelled at, was totally unlike House to let that go.
I like the new girl, honestly. Sure, she's a bit annoying, but she's supposed to be. But she's also really smart and gives a pretty good counter to House. It's a lot better than watching House manhandle the doctors under him.
So, is this new girl supposed to be permanent new girl or just for a short time.
Spoiler: show
I hope she stays longer, I think she brings a good dynamic to the team. As great as 13 was for eye candy, she got old after a bit, and wasn't really that brilliant. This new girl can actually compete with Foreman and House intellectually. I think she should stay for at least a season or two and then possibly leave because she's as good as House but still doesn't like how he does everything.
Because it was deus ex machina, there is a blog I read by a real doctor who goes though the inaccuracies in each episode.

Though he still acknowledges that it was a good episode, just that the ending didn't work. The biggest problem with tonight’s episode is that there’s no way the step-father could have caught rickettsialpox. Even if you accept that the bacteria could live hundreds of years in a glass jar at the bottom of the ocean and could infect someone who got old scab tissue in their blood stream (which seems very questionable to me), Julie could not have passed it on to her step-father as it is not transmitted person to person. Rickettsial pox is only transmitted from the bite of a mite infected with a certain bacteria (and it is this bite that leaves the eschar.) In other words, even if you accept the increasingly ludicrous ideas that 1) Julie caught the infection from the old tissue in the jar, and 2) somehow passed it on to her step-father, even then he couldn’t have had the eschar that proved the case as he was never bitten by an infected mite.
I like Masters. I mean we haven't had any real person on the team with morales since Cameron quit then quit again, and while she makes Cameron look like House in comparison, she at least is attempting to use her good nature for the patients benefit in most cases(like telling the CDC guy 2 options that either way make him look good so they can examine the fathers head) which is the exact opposite of House using his bad nature for the patients benefit. I'm assuming that she'll eventually have a break down or at least become a better person and end up leaving but I was hoping she'd stay if her future performances were anything like this weeks
And Cuddy getting mad again in the end was fucking stupid, still don't get that.
Still looking for the episode if anyone can provide a non-megaupload link![]()
Thanks whoever is responsible for that link. :3
Good Episode, I liked it but I agree with you guys about the Cuddy thing... but women get mad for the most retarded reasons sometimes so I don't see it as too far fetched, just annoying.
Hate newgirl and her babyface. It's like they wanted someone on the exact opposite side of the spectrum from Olivia Wilde's super skinny face.
As a medical student myself, the new character completely throws what little believability the show has out the window. No medical student is this smart, period, even if she is a genius. Especially not against doctors who's had decades of training and are top of their field and genius in their own right, which consist of House's team.
She might have 2 PhDs, but what were they in again? Arts degrees if I recall. How the hell she became an expert in rare, extinct infectious diseases of both humans and animals is beyond me.
I wasn't really paying attention when they introduced her but she's like a genius or something. I don't like her either; I remember the joan of arcadia chick being cuter I thought.
She has 2 PhD's, like House stated at the beginning, she's like a handheld internet. She has a math and art degree. And she's likely taking all her extra time researching shit and diseases, there's only so fast you can take classes. She's not shown to have a social life, yet.
Oh snap@Taub.
I'm jelly of chase.
Chase is hilarious.
