That, and the fact that House doesn't have too many episodes in a season, so they have to spread it around so it ends on/around March.

Heroes will be just as annoying when it starts airing new episodes again... like that fucking 8 week wait we had to endure heh.

More shows need to follow 24 and do a non-stop season, even if it means you only run from January to May instead of September to May. Lost is doing it with the remaining seasons, which should be really helpful for a show like that.

I'd rather wait an extra 2-3 months and not have the show on at all, and then get 20 weeks of new episodes instead of the split up bullshit.

Yeah, House episodes became very awesome once Tritter was out of the picture. Some of the best in the series. That was around the time that Lost started getting it's groove back and it was pure win all week (Heroes, House, Lost, Office).
