    Once I saw Chase in with the 2 new bitches at the end, I was so giddy...

    Fitting end to the series, once I saw the wood fall and the explosion I had a pretty good idea he still made it out. With the upscale of trolling in the last few episodes it only made sense House would listen in on everything that people said about him when he was supposedly dead.

    Wow what a troll. I honestly could not have seen a better ending working... And the writers said they don't do happy endings. lol

    Edit: By the way it's kinda weird seeing the rise and eventual end of this show. Been almost 8 years now since the show started. Where do we go from here? I don't think the'll be a TV drama that I care about as much. ;/

    Great ending to the series. Fox has lost one of it's few power house shows. Also Monday is a bit less interesting.

    Can't believe it's over! Ending was epic, was about to shed manly tears until the final reveal, which was followed with a giant "YES!". Really do like the closure it gave every one.

    I'm surprised people liked it so much. I would have liked to see it progress to where Wilson dies and having that be an emotional climax and possibly ending where you are unsure if house kills himself right after Wilson dies. Nothing in that building felt strong enough to make me think they would actually have him die that way, not enough emotion in it so I figured it was a fake death. Maybe if they sold the death better I would have bought it and been invested in it so the house troll would have had more force. Good but not great.

    I'm not reading anything yet, but my source for House finale (I'm abroad) that I got is about 46 mins (normal 1 hour length), can someone confirm that it's 2hours for me?

    The actual finale was only a normal episode length. The "2 hours" is because they had 1 hour special before the finale going over the whole series, talking to cast members, etc.

    The ending wasn't quite what I was expecting. I was going in thinking there would be an intentional cliffhanger ending, or one of those cut-offs that start debates on the internet as to what 'it' meant, or possible outcomes.

    I'm glad the giant tennis ball made it into the finale though. I miss when House played with that thing nearly every other episode in the earlier seasons.

    I figured he'd end up faking his death. And as soon as someone said "They pulled the body out" it was pretty much confirmed. Funnily, in the commercial break just before you find out he's still alive there was a DirecTV commercial where the guy faked his death.

    The thing that stood out to me was the patient being dead. I thought in that one flashback House figured out it wasn't ALS, but that branch stuck inside him. Unless that was in addition to ALS? Also, I don't think House plans to get away forever, he just wanted to buy the time he could while Wilson was around. Which I think is part of what Wilson was so happy to see, House was giving up any chance of going back to a normal life to spend the last few months with Wilson.
