i thought the complete opposite when i saw the preview i think its gonna be awesome
I think next week's looks great. At least, the House part looks great. The Foreman part seems like it's going to be another one of those "House isn't here so I'll take charge and no one will actually do what I say" episodes, just without Cameron and Chase this time XDOriginally Posted by Eaglestrike
I liked the interaction with Foreman and House at the end, it was kinda cool. It's nice to have Foreman back, he seems to really outshine the other 6.
That cane dance was amazing. Need .gif, stat!

I just watched this week's episode again, I have to say I lol'd really hard when I saw Kumah's face when he delivered the line "She said her hoo-hoo burned."
Priceless.
I take responsibility for that....Originally Posted by Dustybrown

If the camera stood bloody still I'd have done one of the cane-shooting also, would have been my new sig. -.-
So I'm confused a bit by a couple things in this episode. Is the munchausens a side effect of the infection? or why is it that he is suddenly going to be ok with both diseases as soon as they figured out the infection? I thought it was two seperate problums, but then they were only looking for one answer. And come to think of it, if they were seperate they could have cured the munchhausens all along, or is it a reaction to that treatment thing?
And is the ability to read people so perfectly really a side effect, or is that added just as a plot point?
I don't remember the name of whatever he had, but it wasn't Munchausen's. They concluded pretty early in that it was a different disease that made him read others around him and assume their personalities.Originally Posted by XxSlusherxx
It was a side effect of what he really had, so they couldn't cure it. But when they cured what he actually had, it made the psychological problem go away.
And like most things in House, the ability to read people was most likely greatly exaggerated.
The ability to read so deeply definitely was just for plot.
their lesbian fling was fucking hot.Originally Posted by SathFenrir
As someone else said, they refered to it as 'mirror syndrome' in the episode, discounting the munchausens. I looked it up but the only mirror syndrome that comes up is the one when the mother adopts the problems of the foetus (which was featured in an earlier House episode). Interestly in the article I was reading about the episode and mirror syndrome refered to #6 not 9 as "Dr Kumar" which made me laugh, that poor guy is doomed to be Kumar for life. Incidently I saw the trailer for Harold and Kumar 2 and I noticed the guy that plays Harold was also in House a while back (the guy with the infected jaw).Originally Posted by XxSlusherxx
I'm pretty damn sure the writers exaggerated the seeming ability of the guy to 'read minds'. It added nice back story to all the doctors... without taking up too much time. It was nicely done.
And greatly boosted the mystery behind 13...
check the link i posted, the guy who reviews the show is a doctor of some sort cause he evaluates not only the drama of the show, but the medical points as well.
i believe the last time i read it, Giovannini's syndrom was a load of tripe just for the show, a giovannini's disease exists, but it wasn't even close to what happens in house.
his "ability to read minds" even as part of the syndrom is a load of shit, specially just from voice tone and facial expressions.
Anyone want to handicap who gets to stay on as House's fellows? I like Big Love and Thirteen, not sure about who fills the third slot.
My guess would be 13 to definitely stay, they're really building up this big secret of hers. Either that or House will a) sleep with her b) find out her secret and then she'll be gone. Honestly I'm not sure I like any of them as much as the original 3. I really hope they get rid of grumpy. I just can't understand why he's still there, apart from the fact he's miserable. He hasn't done anything to warrant staying. He seems average and complains a lot about wanting to be elsewhere. Hell, at least cutthroat bitch wants the job.Originally Posted by Talus

Thirteen will stay because 1) she's hot 2) she has a secret 3) it's TV, people like watching hot.
I didn't think much of Big Love, but ever since he popped House in the face he went up a few notches in my book, even though it was on the advice of Chase (who finally grew a backbone, or had some surgical procedure to install one between episodes last year). I could care less about the others, the Médecins sans Frontières guy that thought it was pus he aspirated from the patient, the plastic surgeon is boring, and Amber seems to be doing a good job of preparing herself to be cut. Now that I think about it, Kumar (6/9/whatever), Thirteen and Big Love would be a good mix. Two minorities and a woman would theoretically prove to be even more fertile ground for House's wit and verbal assaults.
