Apparently you are 100% right. I was at the Doctor this past Thursday due to what I know now as Bronchitis. When my blood tests and snot/throat test came back, I asked the doctor " So Doc, is it Lupus?"

She stood up, put my folder in the door and walked out of the room. I had to sit there and wait an additional 47 mins for her nurse to tell me what was wrong and to discharge me. She said the doctor did not think I was very "funny".

WTF...thats pretty unprofessional, I don't see how that's not funny also... It's not like you're belittling those who have Lupus or making light of it. Unless she wasnt aware of House, but then that makes even less sense. Regardless I think it was an unprofessional reaction to a simple joke. Figures it was a woman.
