Great season finale though. Loved it.

Man that episode killed me, what a way to go out.
very well written episode, and the way that season 4 was written was good also, such a good ending, it really does leave you wondering what will happen between house and wilson.
Man that was the worst episode of House I've ever seen. There's only one reason I watch House: seeing House be a super asshole to his patients with hilarious timing. I didn't sign up for Grey's Anatomy v2.
i missed the deal with the note, what happened? i had to watch the episode online and keep pausing it because it was buffering slow as hell for me.
Finale was a great episode, but not the type of episode I want to see. I don't want to ever walk away from an episode of House feeling depressed.

It's a medical drama. Sorry if it's not Scrubs v2.0 100% of the time. The writing and acting are top-notch, and considering the months of production delays wrought by a writer's strike I can forgive House if it went from the Wilson + Amber reveal to Amber dying in five episodes (compared to Stacy+House arc lasting a dozen eps)Originally Posted by Alexel

What the SHIT, House?!? I stopped watching mid-season when it became apparent that Amber (or cut-throat bitch) wasn't gonna be packing up and leaving anytime soon, because I hated her character with all my guts. I hated her, HATED her! Then I saw the promo for the previous episode, and thought it looked interesting, and then I heard the season finale was really good, and downloaded them both, and what the SHIT @ making me bawl over the worst character to ever appear on mah TV!
Excellent episode, top notch.
PS. Guys crying needs to come with a tissue warning.
Yeah, I have to agree with this. I think this is what has been bugging me all day. I really liked the episode, it was well acted and well written but I just don't want to see something that is going to have me feeling on a downer for the rest of the day. It ended the season on a real low (albeit well done) and although I'm not looking forward to next season any less, I would have preferred looking to next season after ending on a high, not a low.Originally Posted by Xavier

I'm afraid I don't watch much TV. House is one of the few shows I watch. Though it sounds like I wouldn't like CSI very muchOriginally Posted by Tyche

House has had some pretty 'down' endings too, just not strictly involving permanent cast members. Season 2 was full of Stacy-angst and House fucking it up was pretty hard to watch. The ep where House treats the black college kid who winds up dying is a pretty harsh downer, especially when Wilson explains why House hates seeing his parents.Originally Posted by Tyche

Finale seemed kind of forced. Probably would have been better if we had the 8 episodes that are missing that they had to bridge because of the writers strike. Sad none the less. Not my favorite finale to say the least, but it was decent.
Any site out there where I can stream the finale? Tivo died on me.![]()
www.ovguide.com
There is definately one of those sites you'll find it on.
www.hulu.com doesn't have it up yet.

Great ending for the season. I really couldn't see how Wilson could be mad at House as he did risk his life to try and save her and in the end there was nothing he could do. But they left the season with a pretty strong feeling that Wilson is going to be pissed in the opening episodes of the next season.
Can't wait to buy this season.
