Oh hey, this episode scared the living shit out of me.

House's hallucination of Amber went from funny/interesting to "OH SNAP!" in a split second.

PS. Thank God for more of the original ducklings. I missed Chase and Cameron. Also, when she was like "N-n-no! I don't want YOU to--!" panicking was f'in great, because she's been stupidly cool as a cucumber since she quit working for House.

This is how you know you have great writing. You take a character in CTB that NOBODY fucking likes and everyone wants off the show. A complete annoying twat. You put her in a situation where it drives your feelings for her into a complete 180 and you become emotionally sympathetic and remorseful for how you felt. Then you bring her back dead and people cannot get enough of her. Heroes, take notes.

I loved Amber from the get go She just had this vibe to her that made her so compelling, far more interesting than the other three who eventually won Survivor House. Still, House was right to drop her so she could learn that winning wasn't always everything.


Plus it helps that she's an amazing actress.

I think my attraction to the House/Amber dynamic is that it gives House another equal to talk to. The relationship between him/Cuddy/Wilson can get extremely repetitive to rather cartoonish levels (OH YOU WASCALLY WICODIN-POPPIN WABBIT) and Amber is seriously fucking him up because he can't just use his normal bag of tricks to escape it.

Most likely not. Schizophrenia rarely develops out of the blue like that and to this degree. If anything, I would say that House is having a nervous breakdown
