Usually the only fast food i'll go anywhere near is Taco Bell and Hardees, Hardees black angus cheeseburgers ftw

I'm addicted to Taco Bell.

Probably because they are close to my work and home and their food is really cheap. I've got food poisoning there before, and there is some e. coli break out somewhere in the country, or something, from their food, but I still eat there. >.>

And we don't have Hardees here, no idea what that is.

Hardees is alot like Roy Rogers if you have those but alot better. It mostly has roast beef but their hamburgers own, 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 pound hamburgers using black angus (better quality hamburger than all the fast food places use), on a down side, their hamburgers are a tad pricy

Only fast food I get is Taco Bell and all I order is the Grilled stuff chicken burrito. Tasty. :3

As for McDonalds, that ad blows and that company blows. They do so much shady stuff it's embarassing.

They double deep fry all their fried foods. Yes you heard me, DOUBLE DEEP FRY. Once at the food preparation facilities and again at the restaurant. MMMMMMMMMMM the artery blockage never tasted so good.

This is actually a common cooking technique called 'flashing' that is employed by almost every short-order restaurant in north america. It produces some pretty decent-tasting fries if done at home, but most of the time it's done to foods so they cook much much faster in hot oil before serving. That's why french fries in restaurants only take about 60-90 seconds to cook instead of way longer the way they would from fresh-cut fries.

It's also why In-n-Out Burgers takes much longer to make fries than almost any other burger joint in california, since they do start with raw potatoes.

This is not to say that McDonald's doesn't serve toxic waste by the platterful, just look for their ingredients list on things like their desserts/breakfasts.

I remember a couple years back when some woman went to the dentist because her gums started bleeding, and it was discovered that her Taco Bell food had contained roach eggs which proceeded to hatch in her mouth. Doesn't seem to have had any lasting effect on Taco Bell's business.

However, e.coli is rather much worse than roach eggs, so I'll have to see how this one plays out.

Talking about unhealthy fried food though, the people I used to work with enjoyed coming up with the most insane (baked bean pizza) and sometimes unhealthy food combinations known to man. One such creation was the idea to deep fry a hamburger. They weren't really all that bad, just a little crunchy. One dude, though, had a double with bacon. Needless to say we could hear his arteries clogging from halfway across the room.
