High School Reunions

Funny for me, I actually ran into one of the "popular" kids from high school recently. And, nothing has changed. Still getting made fun of for what I wear, what I like to do. I'm not going to my reunion cuz everyone else is just like him.

I would go to my years reunion for sure. I am just hoping that they remember to send me the invitation although I graduated a year behind my class. To me, high school was an enjoyable experience, just be yourself and people will respect you.(Don't say, ohhh you didnt go to a ghetto school blah blah) well, this is a trailor me and my friend Mike made for our school.)

I loved high school, while I'm not sure how many of the people I'd like to see would show up, I'd probably go. Of course, if I'm still single when it comes around, I might not, since I'm sure all the girls I used to flirt with would be taken and they wouldn't be any fun with a significant other around. My best friend, who is in my class, is/was a huge people person and quite popular, I stuck with my small group of friends but a lot of those weren't in my class. I'd probably still go, but would depend more on who I can find that's going, or who is organizing it.

Anyway, my 5 year (lol) was pretty fun. It was very consistent - everyone I cared to see was there and fine and normal, and everyone I didn't really care about had put on between 20-60 pounds - might be a Wisconsin thing.

It's also fun because you get to reevaluate the "hot" girls from your high school, and if it was anything like mine their "hotness" was based more on their social standing than anything. Clearly in my HS the hottest girl was kinda quiet, nice, pretty, whatever, but seeing her 5 years she seriously looked like a model. She didn't intimidate me at all in HS because of her "status" but just seeing her with new eyes at the reunion...holy jesus.

I still hang out with some people I went to HS with, and if you aren't one of the people I still see from then, odds are I don't want to play dress up and see you.

I'm curious as to which girls may have gotten hot with age, and which girls who everyone thought was hot in high school got busted with age.

General rule I learned in college:

Junior year of High School will be for most girls, the hottest year of their life.

Senior year adds 5 lbs, not much but noticeable + the drunken haze begins. They usually work it off over the summer to freshman year in college as to get continually fucked all through the first semester <3 freshman. The funniest thing I've ever experienced was the first week back sophomore year in college out our first Sig Ep party when all the girls from basically "our" sorority (all frats basically had their own sorority who was expected to do all events with them, pretty sure this is the norm) the hottest of the hot girls as freshman all gained at LEAST 15lbs.

The best part? This quiet girl from my history class first year who was always "cute" and never really partied or did the sorority thing just kept getting hotter as college went on, stayed nice and skinny too.

The more popular you were in high school the faster you become fat, ugly, and pregnant.


Go to the reunion if you want some laughs, do not go to a reunion to try and pick up girls who once upon a time had a line around the corner of guys waiting to fuck them.

I probably would go. HS was a really fun time for me. It really depends on how much social time you spent doing in high school. I played sports in high school so I guess you can say i mingled with many (and *mingled* with many pretty ladies too) so I think it would be cool to go back and see all the people I knew (would be kind of awkward with the ones i *mingled* with though).

Just had my 10 year reunion like 2 weeks ago. Was interesting to see what happened to the people that thought there shit didn't stink. Most were still assholes. Was funny when some started kissing my ass after they found out what I did for a living. Work for the judicial branch and basically have the say over who shows up in court for minor things like speeding tickets and such. Defiantly wasn't worth the $50 bucks they charged for it.

I'm still good friends with my high school buddies. Those that I want to see I already see on a constant basis. Why would I spend my time going to see people I really don't care about?

Honestly I didn't have any super close friends except for one girlfriend while I was in highschool. She dumped me after I spent spring break playing counterstrike instead of giving her attention.

Man, you guys are talking about your 10 year, my 20 year is coming up in a little over a year. I didn't bother with my 10 year, but 20 year? Hmm... might be interesting. I am dramatically different looking now, in HS I was a skinny nerd. I'm ~200 pounds now and look more like someone who belongs in the WWF or whatever it is these days. That coupled with a very lucrative and successful career and a hot young girlfriend... just to see the look on people's faces when they found out who I was would be worth the trip. I'd also cherish seeing how many fat beer-bellied losers there are, as well as fat-assed women who've squirted out 3 or 4 kids.

I dunno though... I dislike crowds of people, so I think the novelty of being there would wear off in about 15 minutes.

I'm not gonna bother with mine. High School I had a love/hate relationship with and although I enjoyed the (many) extra curricular activities I had, most of the people I wasn't friends with were total fuckwads.

Tonko, as a faghag irl, I salute you. This Thanksgiving I went to my best friend's house and I was the only woman there in a table of 10 older gorgeous looking gay men. It was awesome.

I was one of those kids that knew people from each group and pretty much disliked all of them. The only reason I'll go to mine is to get drunk and make fun of the baseball players who graduated high school, went off to college, flunked out because they're morons and are now alone and work shitty jobs for a living. That alone will be worth the money. Man, I hated the baseball players.

LOL at Tonko's responses and everyone elses have been informative. For me, High School was fun, I will never be one to say they were my best years, because the Army and College were far superior; I can say; however, that the best thing out of high school for me was my wife (well we got married after high school).

My high school was alot of fun, was varsity baseball for all four years, so I had alot of "jock" friends, but also being a gamer I had plenty of "geeky" friends; I got around I guess in the social groups. I did loose contact with some people due to just being different from each other (and being in the Army I was going all over the place, lol). I guess for me going to the reunion would be to see what people are up to, maybe I will give it a shot, if anything will be interesting (just not as interesting as Tonko's would be).
