I gotta agree with Max and Nynja here. It doesn't matter whether you *think* the update will suck or not, when it's not here yet. I for one like most of what has been announced so far, and just because it doesn't have something to do with someone getting a lolRidill faster or affect THEIR personal job they are getting panties in a twist. Real mature...less Debbies plz. at least complain AFTER instead of before so I can be playing with the update instead of reading crap.

Chocobo Hot and Cold was awesome in FFIX. It better have the same mariachi (or whatever it was) music that IX had otherwise it will suck.

Chocobo Hot and Cold was made of absolute win in FFIX, I'd even go as far to say it was one of the most fun (remember that?) mini-games in an RPG ever.

Sorry to those with chronic Flux-ism if this portion of the update doesn't give you anything to increase your e-wang with, but some of us actually find it to be an interesting addition.

-Nyzul Isle? Check!
-End-game or Toau storyline? Check!

Chocobo Raising gets so much attention throughout these updates and theres no love for npcs anymore.

They already mentioned Job Adjustments, Salvage, the opening up of Alzadaal Undersea Ruins (of which Nyzul Isle is a part), and a new HNM. I don't recall if they mentioned new storyline missions, but its a strong possibility.

Everything in that list has already been part of this series of update notes.

And *yawn* for the piecemeal update details. As much as we'd like them to be, not all updates can be game changing.

If S-E wanted to be smart about this, they'd try to package each update with as wide of range of content as they could so they can feed as many different spectrums of their community as they can. When they release details of an update prior to an update, they'd let out only tiny tidbits of what they're working on and leave most of the particulars quiet until release day. The information being released should be something that excites alot of people, not just 1/10th of the playerbase. With these details for instance, more people on involved in endgame activities than give a shit about raising a quality chocobo, so these details only apply to a small small niche of people and S-E should've just kept it to themselves until the day of the update. They should be working to get or keep people excited about updates, not give people reasons to bitch about them.

So salvage could be another limbus and if it is, its way better than any update so far this expansion. So no point saying this update sucks or is good since they aren't going to say what salvage is going to be.

How the hell do you shave a few minutes off going from the outpost to the tree with a chocobo? It's only a couple minutes to start with. And if "every second counts" like you say, then keep a few powder boots handy.

How the hell do you shave a few minutes off going from the outpost to the tree with a chocobo? It's only a couple minutes to start with. And if "every second counts" like you say, then keep a few powder boots handy.
