SC3 is bug ridden and sucktastic. You are right VF4 is one of the greatest. It is like the most finely tuned 3d fighting game on the planet. Good luck for those who only know how to "Mash Buttan". The game seriously punishes you for being a retard. SC2 though, while less balanced etc etc, is just all around much more fun to play. The bottom line is, we all play games for fun. I am sure more people here have fun playing SC2 than VF4. In my opinion if something is more fun, then it is better.Originally Posted by Krandor

even though I don't like Xenosaga, I didn't mind the 30min cutscenes... It was just the actual gameplay wasn't that interesting or fun...infact the cutscenes are what I liked most about the game.
NES:
Rockman 1-5 (6 was a bad one)
PS2: Fatal Frame / .hack//GU vol. 1 Rebirth
shining force 2 - sega genesis
I like that about VF gamesOriginally Posted by Demosthenes
You're right about the more mass market appeal that SC2 has, but in terms of shear gameplay potential I think Evo is unbeatable. Quest mode in Evo is probably the best designed single player mode I've seen in a fighting game as well, and the AI especially from higher tier CPU players is incredible without stepping into the boundaries of cheapness.
As it stands Virtua Fighter 5 is the only reason I plan on buying a next gen console when it comes for PS3 next year.
Edit: I would also imagine alot of people get turned off from Virtua Fighter based solely off Lion's voice, which still probably stands as the worst voice ever for a character in a fighting game. "Ha, what a knucklehead."
Episode 2 did lack something, but I liked all 3 about the same. Problem most people have with first 2 episodes is the "lack" of story, but most of them just did not realize how everything was connected, giving a new meaning to certain event that appeared unimportant in the first place.Originally Posted by Vinen
Did they ever make a new Breath of Fire?
did anyone list stacraft? lol
BoF: Dragon quarter or something is the last one, and sucked bad. Series went down imo after the 2nd or 3rd.Originally Posted by Slapper

Agree that 1,2 and 3 was good. Sad that the newest one sucked.

I never finished 3, it was fun while I could play it, but never had the chance to rent it again (too lazy >_>)
