So... about assault

Almost everyone only does freaking Ex duty and most people dont even do assault in the first place

After 8months like 90% still rank 1 its just weird

Repeating EX duty like what most people do to rank up will require 250 run to get rank 10 now count the days where you miss your tags or fail or maintence and thats almost a year

Clearing every area to rank up faster will take kinda 3 months if you count failers since alot of areas depends on luck 90% and your skill 10% alot of areas wont be clearable for small sets or stupid areas that cant be cleared like lebros tier2

Some areas are hard even for 6 people

I wonder if next patch endgame area (like sea/sky) will require rank 10 assault to enter

I want to see people getting owned honestly so they start doin assault unless SE add new endgame area that require rank10 assualt most people wont care in this game and this sucks for people who cares

Its really sad. Such a well designed and fun activity is overlooked because it doesnt have omgasmic (ex) items.

Looking at ToAU so far, if the trend continues I doubt there will be much effort at all to get to the endgame areas...

I would say 90% of assaults are trioable, most of them easily so.

Get your NIN to 75, make a static group with a couple of people with some job flexability including atleast a bard and a rdm, and you should be able to rank up most of the way with very little trouble.

I left the game for around 2 months, and I still just hit Corporal, and am waiting to do assault to get 5/5 Yigit. I have never done an assault with more than 3 people, and my static's job selection is:
NIN/MNK
RDM/BRD/WHM/BLM/BST/COR
RDM/BRD/WHM/BLM/SMN/BLU


Assaults are fun, require very few people and very little organisation, have absolutely no competition to worry about, and when it comes down to it, if there are no ex items you want, you can still make money from it.

Dont go with shit people.

Doing evade and escape is so much easier and requires lesser time than ex duty even though there's a 100 assault point difference.

problem is well... kinda all my friends who still playing dont care about assaults and the one who cares quited i had to rank up from rank 6 to 7 and get 16/25 point for next rank up by just doing ex duty becouse no one shout for high tier assaults and i did tryed alot of times to shout for higher tiers after 3days and 30hour i couldnt make a pt of 3 to trio some so meh

I actually do hope they require max rank assault to get to the endgame areas, and that the endgame area has something good enough that RMT would want to go there. Only, it'll take RMT a long time to get there due to the 1 tag a day limit, and by the time they make it, maybe they'll be banned again.

Thats wrong though - most assaults are easily winnable with three. You do need the setup though. Win the ones you can win, repeat for the ones you cant. I would say 4/5 assaults across the board are trioable..

Uh, I've cleared every assault except 2 with 3 people up to S-rank. The SM rank ones we've been going with 4.
