Auto-Refresh is still the more dependable MP recovery. Given the choice, I'd take that over Conserve MP as a tack-on trait.

Then again I can't quite figure why all MP using jobs don't get inherent Auto-Refresh at some level anyway. Everyone should get Auto-Regen or Auto-Refresh...not like it's gonna save you from anything remotely dangerous.

I've played since JP Beta on JPPS2. Still got all the junk that came with the box somewhere. The guy left out a bunch of the GM+player events.

That's what WHMs, SMNs, and BRDs are for. Remember that time when we were fighting Khimaira and I owned its face with an Elemental Seal Paralyze for the last 10%? Good times, good times...

ES+Paralyze II+Ice Shot sounds interesting, now that you mention it. So does ES+Slow II+Earth Shot and Elegy.

I don't suppose ES works with Elegy too, lol. Khimaira is hard for both RDM and BRD to enfeeble.

Remember when I landed Paralyze without Elemental Seal every so often too? But honestly, I'd say for most things you'd need both a RDM/WHM and a RDM/BLM (providing you're not using your RDMs to stun naturally).

This BRD on the KI BRD forums said that ES+Elegy stacks. He might be wrong, he was a galka after all. Give me a few minutes and Ill edit this post with a link or something~

EDIT: He was actually an elvaan, which is even worse.

With Troubador now, you can sub BLM and then ES your elegy, and switch off with a 2nd bard doing that. Your elegy will last a LONG time, and always land. I do this with a 2nd bard in my LS when we fight Cerberus. I don't have issues with Elegy on Tiamat, its like 85-90% land rate for me now with all my wind skill. We just switch off doing ES elegy, and then songs for the tank's and mages, and when the elegy on Cerb is about to wear, then the next bard has ES, Troub, and elegy ready to put back on it.

ES does work with BRD debuffs, hasn't anyone done BRD/BLM for ES threnody on DL? >_>

Threnody is easy as hell to land on DL anyways, especially with SV
