It seems like it's changing roles now... at least for the next 8 months until MGS/DMC will be out, and even that isn't enough to carry the PS3.... it needs an FF title, bad.
Gamecube was far more powerful than the PS2, why wouldn't it look better lol? At the very least, theres no reason they couldn't of been made on the gamecube to similar effect.

Just like they always say, no matter how much Nintendo fucks up on the home console market, they always have the Gameboy (or DS at this point).

Those SSs in the link look pretty sick too, I'm all for this game.

Was it? in the short while that I had a Gamecube it seemed like the graphics weren't quite up to par with the PS2's.

Not to mention PS2 was the more poppular, so it was obvious why Square stayed with Sony.

BTW, was that FF game that was released on the Gamecube worth anything? I was thinking of getting it for the Wii since I have a GC mem card/controller anyways, but wasn't sure if it's worth looking for it on ebay.

Is a lot of this game having to level up for a while before tackling dungeons? What level should I be before attempting the Sealed Cave?
Go into the west tower of castle Sasune. There's enemies there, and some chests. Chest at the top of the tower has a strong sword, wightslayer.

Good place to build levels. Lv 6 is a good level to get too for the Sealed cave.
You can go into the mines in town, put your 2 chars in the backrow. One or two cures should kill the undead there. You get like a level a kill. I had no idea I wasn't even supposed to be in here. Got like 10 levels... then found out I was supposed to go to the castle. Oops, was slightly overpowered for a good couple hours later.

it is multi player, using wifi

3 biggest changes to DQ9: on a handheld, action RPG (or action adventure as some people prefers it) instead of traditional turn based like DQ1~8, and can have up to 4 people playing together, like diablo

and all 3 things tell me i'm looking forward to blue dragon 2 >.>

I do too, but potential doesn't mean anything if you're not around to realize it.

I think the N64 had way more potential than the original Playstation, but by the time people were really pumping out beautiful games on the N64, it had no third party support left to do anything with.
The storage potential wasn't there though, hence square switching platforms for the ff7 we know today.
That was later disproven, near the end of the N64's lifecycle.

Nobody thought Resident Evil could be done on the N64, but they were able to fairly successfully port it to the system near the end.

And somehow Legend of Zelda: OoT didn't seem limited by storage at all.
I've never heard that, I don't think Resident Evil was near 4 cds either. I'm sure it could of worked so long as things were cut out. That's why I said ff7 as we knew it today, that's all.

The memory cards useable by the DS can go up to 2 gb or more I think now, given that you're working with a smaller amount of graphics then something on a big console, that's alot of space for gameplay

one of the few things that pissed me off about the wii was that it wasn't shipping with those cables.

I see Gamestop is selling their own version of the Wii cables, only they're charging like 50 bucks for them, while nintendo charges 30... what gives?

Gamecube was actually quite a bit more powerful. This can best be seen with RE4. It looks much better on the gamecube and runs smoother than it does on the PS2 (I have both copies).

I used to like gamestop a while ago, until I realized how stupid their employees are. I don't like to even go there anymore, they never have what I am looking for anyways.
