Gamecube was far more powerful than the PS2, why wouldn't it look better lol? At the very least, theres no reason they couldn't of been made on the gamecube to similar effect.Originally Posted by Exoduso

Just like they always say, no matter how much Nintendo fucks up on the home console market, they always have the Gameboy (or DS at this point).
Those SSs in the link look pretty sick too, I'm all for this game.
Was it? in the short while that I had a Gamecube it seemed like the graphics weren't quite up to par with the PS2's.Originally Posted by Xavier
Not to mention PS2 was the more poppular, so it was obvious why Square stayed with Sony.
BTW, was that FF game that was released on the Gamecube worth anything? I was thinking of getting it for the Wii since I have a GC mem card/controller anyways, but wasn't sure if it's worth looking for it on ebay.

gameplay movie
looks like multiplayer... kinda hard to tell, but if it's what i'm thinking it looks like it's gonna be a really cool game
You can go into the mines in town, put your 2 chars in the backrow. One or two cures should kill the undead there. You get like a level a kill. I had no idea I wasn't even supposed to be in here. Got like 10 levels... then found out I was supposed to go to the castle. Oops, was slightly overpowered for a good couple hours later.Originally Posted by Tonko
it is multi player, using wifi
3 biggest changes to DQ9: on a handheld, action RPG (or action adventure as some people prefers it) instead of traditional turn based like DQ1~8, and can have up to 4 people playing together, like diablo
and all 3 things tell me i'm looking forward to blue dragon 2 >.>
not trying to sell anything here, but i picked up one of these babys:

last week for my wii, and i love it. definatly worth the 30 bucks for a little more umph to my wii's graphics
I've never heard that, I don't think Resident Evil was near 4 cds either. I'm sure it could of worked so long as things were cut out. That's why I said ff7 as we knew it today, that's all.Originally Posted by Xavier
Link won't work... component cables?Originally Posted by Starblaster
yea, it's the component cable for wii
I didn't know these were already out... how's Zelda in 480p?
The memory cards useable by the DS can go up to 2 gb or more I think now, given that you're working with a smaller amount of graphics then something on a big console, that's alot of space for gameplayOriginally Posted by Scragg
one of the few things that pissed me off about the wii was that it wasn't shipping with those cables.Originally Posted by Starblaster
I see Gamestop is selling their own version of the Wii cables, only they're charging like 50 bucks for them, while nintendo charges 30... what gives?Originally Posted by Xavier
I could go on and on about whats wrong with gamestop and its policies, but its so much quicker to say whats right...
That was quick wasn't it.
hehe, but they are still one of the biggest video game retailers in NA... so they must be doing something right
either that or people are just stupid XD
gunna go with people being stupid for 200 alex.
Gamecube was actually quite a bit more powerful. This can best be seen with RE4. It looks much better on the gamecube and runs smoother than it does on the PS2 (I have both copies).Originally Posted by Exoduso
I was considering working for gamestop but after a couple horror stories of them treating their employees like shit... I decided I deserve better![]()
I used to like gamestop a while ago, until I realized how stupid their employees are. I don't like to even go there anymore, they never have what I am looking for anyways.Originally Posted by Jooeetheplatypus
