As I said, the Ix'DRG was horrible because our manaburn team couldnt use the usual manaburn tactic because you would gank it at 10%...I believe I allready said this.

It still shouldn't have been horrible with 20 people+ and a normal setup.

It's no different than us, usually Tiamat is smooth but every so often we get flailed. Big fucking deal. After 2 hours of Tiamat I feel like stabbing SE employees, it's hard to pay attention. The only thing retarded is the fight design which never should have happened had SE payed ANY attention to how fucking much people hated the long fights like Aten and shit in EQ.

its called lag, I dont have macro sets for specific spells, and I scrolled to warp2 instead of sleep2, we still killed it though without having to zombie on the recovery...

I'm a little curious how we got FIVE aw'aerns when they are non-aggressive. I think people were zoning ix to shed hate, but some of our new members werent aware of the party hate aspect, thus Ix ran around through the portals and linking the aerns between. But what do I know, turtle has spoken and is more knowledgeable than I, he stuns Mighty Strikes !


Unfortunately, when yer doing things with a sketchbag piece of shit linkshell like yours around, and things arent going according to plan, people tend to panic and attempt to rush things. As I said, had you dirtbags not been there waiting to vulch a yellow 10% IX'DRG, this wouldnt have happened to begin with.

Back a long time ago when I fought Tiamat with PLD/WARs, someone would stun when it landed to buy time for AA to be applied. Pretty sure it only 2hrs as it lands. Doesn't touchdown wipe shadows?

So stunning it when it lands is not a bad idea, but no way would it require more than one stun.

edit: well yeah with pld/wars then stun would be nice. theres enough time between touchdown and his first attack to get :ni up pretty easily
