FF Tactics remake for PSP

I so love how stupid people are when they say "my PSP" or "the PSP" is useless XD 1gig to 4gig stick is more than enough space for tons of stuff. Haxing it is where it's the winnar! playing NES up to N64 (granted, a bit glitchy still) games = win. Music = win, browsing online = win, movies you can download and put on it = win. The GTA games for it are fun, Metal Gear Acid was decent (weird with cards but still fun), Metal Gear Ops = win, Crisis Core (FF7 one) looks like it'll be a winner. I can't remember the name.. something like Blade Dancer, though a grinder (nothing as bad as FFXI though) and has its downfalls, is rather fun. The Socom games on the PSP are fun for a handheld online FPS. That Medal of Honor game coming for it seems fun too for a handheld FPS.

So many reasons I'm glad I have one. Now FFT for the PSP coming out? And Sony is working on that whole "PS1 emulator for the PSP" where you can download games to computer and upload games you want to the PSP to play before you go or whatnot (or just leave your favorites on the PSP). The battery life is severly underrated as I've yet had it die on me and had it off the charger for a 9 hour trip (stupid lay overs) and it was on virtually the entire time (other than an hour of sleeping I got on the plane). So many lolNintendo fanboys that don't even realize how good a PSP can be XD (though I agree, DS has fun games too I would have one if I had the money but.. I figured PSP had far more to entertain me with as it wasn't just games).

I actually never knew the PSP could be used to look at porn until I saw a thread on QCDN showing really funny news story about it (this was about 3 weeks) ago. And no, you aren't right. I don't care to have porn on the go or at all in general.

You can emulate on anything. PC, Wii, Probably the DS if you tried hard enough. Why bring them up in arguement for PSP?

cause it wasn't done for any other HANDHELD system before? Laptops aren't freakin handhelds >.>

Edit: And I've seen that article DS thing before, but it still can't have as many emulators as the PSP it seems (well not as many have been made yet).

The onyl reason I bought a PSP was that the DS I bought doesn't charge on my business trips oversees. The PSP does come with an all areas power converter so I can actually play the PSP.

That said. I'd still rahter play the DS

I recently got a DS, and I <3 it, and I've recently been thinking of reasons to get a PSP (already had a few, in fact one of my reasons was to play FFT on the ps emulator once it gets refined enough to work better <.<)

Also about the snes+nes emulators on the DS: THEY SUCK. I tried to run all of them like a week ago to see what I could get working (originally wanted to play snes TOP(dejap) cause the gba translation made me want to stab my eyes out, but then also wanted to get SO and CT on my ds) and they all sucked.

The best I could get running was CT with really glitchy layering >_< None of those emulators even supported SO or TOP(I can understand SO but TOP? come on)

I don't know much about psp emulators, but I've heard they're a lot better, and that was also another reason I was considering getting one.

(Someone please prove me wrong on this and tell me there's some emulator I overlooked, I'll <3 you)

1) Does it have an internal harddrive?

2) Is there a way to mod games onto it, somewhat like ps/ps2 modding? Basically, a way of loading games without paying 50$ or whatever the cost is

3) How much are the memory sticks? How much are the games?

4) Does it take pictures, or just view?


Reason I ask is basically because I recently bought a Creative: Zen MP3 player, which rocks, but I might sell it to get a psp.

they are emulated via a memory card, youll need to buy one and possibly a game to get the hack to work

2) yes (hell, GTA was out a month before it came out in stores) and the prices for games are about 30-40 bucks. Most around 35. Hardly that much
3) Depends on the size of the stick and where you get em. The 4 gig I've seen for as low as 100 bucks and as high as 200.
4) just view.

The latest devhook emulates firmware 3.02, so no need to upgrade firmware for any games as of now, but who knows what will happen by the time FFT comes out.

You can take pics with the psp if you buy that addon camera, I think it's called chotto-shotto or some shit like that.
