FF Tactics remake for PSP

Count me as someone that really doesn't care. I'm sick and tired of SE just releasing the same game over and over and over again. How about a new Chrono sequel, a Mana sequel that doesn't shit on SM and SD3, or a new series that doesn't blow ass. I loved FFT, and think FFTA is the best thing that ever happened to international flight, but I'm certainly not going to buy a glorified paperweight just to play another SE port job.

This is an example of Sony's real problem...some people are really tired of the gaming conventions and want to experience new stuff, not just the old stuff with prettier packaging. That's why the DS is kicked their ass, and why the Wii is doing so well right now (though I seriously doubt the Wii will keep up...but that's another topic). Everything on the PSP has been done before, and for the most part, done better. And who the fuck cares about emulation? Anywhere I go that I'm going to be playing a handheld game, more likely than not I'll also have my laptop.

Was more thinking X-2, since it was a direct sequel. KH2 was meh. Chrono Cross was good though.

SE makes great sequels...when they try. XII was really a huge risk (as was XI), and it paid off...but SE has failed to bring that risk taking to its other games. To make a truly great game, you have to risk making a crappy game...and right now, other than the flagship title, SE just keeps the boat steady. I'm just afraid that the culture will ultimately infect the FF series.

I didn't really mean the Final Fantasy series. Each game is by itself and shares nothing with others so I really don't think of them as sequels.

Tell me about it, I only played it a little heh. I still got like 4 RPGs to go through on the PS2, Gears of War on the 360, and i'm still stuck on Zelda: TP.

When you have 2~ hours a night to play, that's a pretty damn long list.

Sony has good final attacks, they saw PSP was going down hill so they got SE to make a remake.

They will do the same with FF7 when/if PS goes down under im sure.

Well they do have Crisis Core coming out next year.. and technically, that's FF7.

Your fucking kidding me right? This is some kind of joke right? You know Nintendo are the master of the RE RELEASE. What do you think the Virtual console is? Re releasing old shit and people love it for some reason, you remember the game boy classic collection right? Were they re released old NES for game boy advanced. One more for ya, you remember the game boy micro right? I think I've made my point, re releasing is what people WANT Nintendo has been doing it for YEARS and it always work. The problem is Sony isn't porting enough old games to PSP if they did that I would guarantee the PSP would do a shit ton better.

It really depends how much they improve the game and how much of it is a direct port. Unless the changes are dramatic I probably won't be tempted to the PSP...but damnit, it was such an amazing game. Still not going to buy a PSP for just one game that I played 10 years ago though.

i just put my comics on it i have been able to read every spiderman xmen batman superman comic and a shitload more while at work because of this beutiful thing. it takes only minutes to convert them all onto it with PSPhoto.
