    Actually the guy could be from anywhere since he doesn't talk but his name is clearly french. The man talking at the beginning is the french host for "Who wants to be a millionaire ?" and other shows since like 30 wears ago.

    And yeah this was amazing...

    I just thought his hand with the staff was fake and he was using his real arm to move the head around.
