Overall, /disappointed. This update seems really thin on the ground, unless Salvage is fucking amazing.

I'm kinda psyched about the Absorb-XXX timer's being reduced to 2 seconds, and maybe Khimera, as long as it drops Bhides...

What I really, really wanted this update was a reason to be proud of my 8 scythe merits, now I gotta go around telling everyone I merited GSD or something useful =\

Hmmmmm last time the treants were up, killing them all gave us OP warps.

Maybe this time killing them all will give us the Crag>Sky tele?

Windy tree = Mea > Sky
Sandy tree = Holla > Sky

i think reason why the first twinkling treant event was so good was cause we were all like low level nubs not knowing wtf was goin on... i remember someone telling me you can get huge skill ups fighting it.. so i would run up to it, hit it, get a .5 skill up on my club as whm, die, and repeat lol...

now we know the game too much, so we'll never be able to feel that same way we did years ago D;

plus this event seems to be in town, so i dunno about actually fighting these things. It will probably be something like get items from npcs to weaken the trees.. idk..

And the update makes it sound like the Smilebringers will appear in town when the Treants are dead, so that's probably the reward: the chance to get some Santa pants and Santa pants +1 or something from the Smilebringers.

Twinkling Treants Pt.II. Inside the towns... incoming new winner for funnest event.

It sounds kind of lame to me since we don't get to actually fight them. I doubt it comes close to the first time the treants showed up.
