An AV that has its 2hrs locked after killing all of its wyverns, while still maintaining a small degree of difficulty, with a fairly nice loot pool is a good job.

An AV whos conditions to lock are so random that nobody is sure anymore, with it becoming broken, fixed, broken, fixed every other patch, is not a good job.

BLM has a lot to complain about. Running assault gave them nothing useful, they have on shitty non +1 items for them in sea/limbus, sky and dynamis. They have horrible level 1 and level 2 merits too. In addition blm's don't get any gear on the awesome king fights; so they can't appreciate the beauty of the zones and engage in meaningful social interaction with other strong hnm shells. They can't solo anything, especially limbus or in sea.

Unlike you guys, I don't really have any concerns or doubts about the update.

Get into the mindframe that every update will suck, and be pleasently surprised when you get a good one.

True. There have been countless times when update teasers looked amazing, then when we figured everything out, they were wtf to meh. Limbus was pretty much the best thing they ever added. You could do it with 3 people and get coins, or do it with 18 people and fight proto-O/U. Other than the mystery of Salvage, nothing looks that good. 50-70% of the new will either suck, be situational, or be a pain in the ass to get. Choco stuff is lame.

Low expectations is to be expected. That way, we won't be crushed as we already are crushed, unless this update sucks so bad, then i dunno what the fuck will happen. Maybe, just maybe SE has some secret suprise awaiting us to be revealed patch day. Granted, I have a better chance of getting a Ridill (I don't camp faffy) than anything good coming, but one can still hope.

And an 6-hour (if I did my math right) maintenence is lame. It better fix a lot of lag issues in besieged/dynamis/AH. At least i got some offline games I can finally get a chance to playing. Of course, I always say that, but I alywas end up spamming F5 for hours and hours...

Yeah. EDIT: Also, I didn't even mention BLM in this thread all i said was that i was /disappointed. Mainly by how the whole thing was just seemingly thin on the ground there doesn't seem that much of anything for anyone.
But hey w/e I'm in a good mood as I got a fat pay rise yesterday. :D My liver kinda hurts today though. '~' I’m sure after the update is all done everything will be splendid. (Not sarcasm.)

i feel underwhelmed because usually SE builds up hype for each update with the info leaking in every few days.. but so far nothing is really appealing. Usually they'd drop the bomb like 1-2 days before the update itself.. and I'm guessing Salvage info will come tomorrow or friday (which, in my timezone is the same thing but i know not in the US). Hopefully that'll be good enough to build some degree of hype for anyone who isn't a pld, blu or plays with tamagochi.

and also because they dont announce all changes i'll wait till patch note to give a 'verdict' on this update

Why are people so excited for the sky teleport? Silverpiece >> Home Town >> OP Zi'Tah >> Sky takes about 6 minutes. Assuming it's from a crag or some other reasonably accessable area, I can't imagine the time difference being anything worthwhile. I don't think Id eat green eggs and ham for the sky teleport, let alone kill a treant with an extra "0" accidentally in its HP.

I think it's just such a big kick in the face since S-E does that whole "buy the expansion now, get the content later" approach, and all of the big items on that timeline have been delayed. Don't blame yourselves for getting too psyched up - S-E did that when they released that timeline.

There are still four days for more announcements. I wouldn't count some things out just yet.

I agree, SE has been making changes to the game that have improved the game so far. Aslong as the task force continiues to crack down on RmT I am happy. yes, some of the best items are from 3 year old NM's, yet we still continue to play. I hope we get a server wide quest for the warp to sky.
