Were hi-reraisers from ancient lockboxes not good enough for Reraise? I say they throw out the Hi-Potion Tanks and replace those with exp scrolls and it'd be fixed.

Or Silent Oil/Prism powder tanks.
The Sneaking Boots were almost good, except for the recast time.Originally Posted by Doombard

There's still the possibility of Hazhalm Testing Grounds turning out to be an end game related area. Hopefully Salvage will be ToA's limbus/dynamis, or something in between. If Salvage turns out to be another limbus thats justification enough for this update. Unlike Limbus I'd like to think that more than one party can enter each area at one time.
We bitch because we've been SE promise great stuff then fail to deliever. We're like the NY education departmennt (might apply to other states as well), each update hasn't passed our expectations, so insteed of getting SE to add better content, we lower the bar so it can pass then we'll be happy.Originally Posted by Jooeetheplatypus
Not much to discuess on Salvage either. All we have on it is the name. There hasn't been a seperate update detail for it yet. If we start thinking it'll be a new way to get relic/abj armor and it doesn't most ppl will be ticked off. But if we think it's a way to get, say the "set armor" +1, but it actually does give abjs/relic armor, we'll be happy.
Say something I havent heard, over and over again. To exhaustion. I swear half the posts in threads like this were copy pasted from old threads.Originally Posted by Valrath
Heres the fact: Don't bitch about what you don't know. Its pointless.

I for one heavily vote for consumables from Assault, buying with low amounts of points, 1k-5k perhaps? Much like the above poster said. But also one thing we all know, or at least i'm sure will happen. Crafter's will bitch and bitch >.> and bitch about "omg SE is taking more craftables away from us!". Personally at least on Midgard, I think they should add an Assault Point Sushi, or at least an equivalent type food, all Sushi that i'm aware of = Holboyboy(sp) which is one of our Culinary 100 RMT's. I don't see too many legit sushi sellers b/c of this guy, so either i hope he gets banned, or the assault points happen. Back on track though, I for one am quite psyched for this update, I guess people forgot about some of the little things, or just like to bitch. "/ignorepet" is one of the updates that I'm gratefully looking forward to, wasn't that an old RMT / NM camper trick to screw up the tab for the mob? And it's annoying when i select Titan, or some ugly ass Avatar instead of a mob, mildly annoying, possibly life-saving for the second or so it spares yes, but definitely not huge. We haven't gotten the info on Salvage yet, there are several good updates so far, and I'm sure as normal the amount of equip they showed us is about 5-10% of what they are actually giving us, thus the "galore" wording. Yeah, it may be crap, but we never know, best to keep an open mind about it.Isiolia wrote:
They'd just have to put in items that people would come back for over and over. XP/merit scrolls maybe?
Some really great high end items would help, but what'll get people doing Assaults indefinitely would be cheap EX consumable/enchantment items, maybe in the 1-2k point range.
High end XP rings maybe, ReRaise III hairpins, stacks of really good food...or maybe NM pop items XD
As long as the "/ignorepet", Sky Warp, Equipment are halfway decent, and Salvage isn't just another non-instanced zone, i'll be pretty happy and content. The only thing I've been somewhat let down by, is the Mission content, but honestly I never saw TAU as all about the Missions like COP was. TAU = New Shiny Stuff, and I hope they have a decent End-Game area that rivals or hopefully excels ROZ, that's my hope, and I'll keep hoping.
I have friends of lower assault rank that need rankups. That's a reason to do more.Originally Posted by ircgeek
And, y'know, some of the assault missions are fun... remember that?
I'm glad to see we're all still enjoying the game.
odd there is a taru on carbuncle named holboyboy who is a rmt cooker >.> who does nothing but synth sushi and spam " : ] "Originally Posted by Abel
He's on a dozen or so servers and makes nothing but sushi and melon pies. he also MT's the "]" sign. He completely nukes the food market. While I like cheap food, I feel bad for legit fishermen/cooks who have to craft for hours just to make 100k. I'm an alchemist, I know their pain too. Fuck rmt crafters. worse than gil farmers, can't mpk them.Originally Posted by Lordender

Would have been nice to cast Protect on an RMT as they synth, and just tell the GM you were trying to be helpful.

I don't keep that close an eye on all updates, wasn't aware it was fixed, >_> i used to go around to all the asshole RMT, and players on my server that would constantly try to do MPK and other ridiculous stuff b/c they were 'bored' the most common excuse "i was drunk" or my personal favorite gem of them "my brother/roommate/cat accidentally aggroed all those mobs and ran to your PT and hit warp, don't blame me" and cast things on them to see them break, especially when i just heard them bragging about crafting a Haub soon, or <_< something of that nature. I always crafted in MH, I forgot i typed this post up and decided to finish it out a few hours later, i'll probably be really far away from where I last saw.Not since the "crafter's MPK" fix. Sad

So Salvage uses Assault Points - didn't even think of that idea. Just found that funny after the discussion yesterday.
I kind of wish rank was somehow incorporated into it, but that's just me wanting to gloat over people who chose to shun Assault all this time.
