No, I mean after they made them killable, all servers but Fairy had killed theirs before the original deadline. SE then extended the deadline for some unknown reason, which luckily for Fairy, allowed them the time they needed to finish theirs off. They came very close to not having outpost warps, even to this day.

That was funny shit, I still can't believe S-E threatened whole servers like that, haha. That was cool skillups tho.

Argh! I went over this! SE didn't threaten anyone, the outpost warp service was a reward for defeating all (eight?) of the Twinkling Treants. They only told us what the reward was because everyone gave up killing them because they were impossible for the first 3~5 days they existed. It was incentive.

Seriously, I doubt SE had any intentions to withhold outpost warping from any server. Hence, the 'mysterious' deadline extention.

Or the fact that when it started, the treants has such massive regen you could MB the thing with an alliance and barely get a scratch in, which promptly healed.

I should know, I actually soloed the stupid thing for about 15 minutes when the Sarutabaruta one popped on Ragnarok before 40-50 people piled on. Fun times.

Just wondering does Japan celebrate Christmas or do they have another holiday they celebrate? Cause if they don't celebrate Christmas this SE event must look pretty weird to them.

They dont celebrate Christmas with some of the religious meaning that Americans do, but they do use it for the same reason we do. Winter is the season where typically sales go down, so Sears and Roebuck started pushing Christmas shopping back in the 20s. Now winter is the peak shopping season of the year. When I lived in Japan, i saw all the same shit you see here, alot of people shopping for presents, commercials with santa claus and christmas trees. What I didnt see was houses being decorated, and people singing hymns.
