I'm sorry I have suffered thru 5 retarded Lex Luthor movies, and then an emo Luthor thru this whole Smallville series (my father doesn't love me, boo hoo), I gave up on this show after the second season, when they started going the X-Files route.

I have enjoyed the series (started watching when season 2 started and since then have bought the 5 current seasons on DVD). Last nights episode throughly pissed me off ... especially the scene with Lana and Lionel. So much for Lionel having Clarks back lol.

I didnt see the whole set up thing comming until Lana told chloe where Lex's wedding present was hidden. I saw great potential in that episode until, like I said, Lionel made his apperance. I guess we can take solace in the fact that Lana finally knows for sure about his "secret"

I mean I can see them bringing in the phantoms to end the season (we have roughly 6-7 eps before the season finale) but come on .. I would have atleast liked a transition in there. On a minor note ... they should give us a clue as to where Pete is at. I was hopeing to see him last episode at the wedding.
