Does he at least tank, as WAR? My LS uses WAR tanks for some things like 3 kings, etc. Though for anything big, usually use PLD/NIN.

As stated before, He doesnt do HNMs, he wanted it for meripo tanking. Lets stay on topic of the rule..

Even then... the AF body has higher defense, a difference of +40 HP, and 5 lolVIT compared to Hydra body.

We dont do point system.

Ring and Mantle are done by a minimum attendance + random system. So loyal members can be rewarded and everyone can have a shot. Plds have 2 reserved random spots to help hasten our plds getting mantles, but in the end, everyone has an shot.

The Hydra gear has traditionally been free to anyone that can equip it since it drops so rarely. I never thought to ask that rule to be changed because i never in my wildest dreams thought a war would lot that over pld friends.

The only reason i even posted here was because there was a debate in our LS over making this pld only and alot of people dont want it to be, which suprises me alot. Just wanted to get an outside view, not bash the guy that got it. I dont personally agree with him lotting it, but i try and not let items get inbetween friends. That and i beleive karma goes both ways.

I kinda have to bite my tongue from railing on him because of an LS of my own, but at least that item wasn't ex. And the nature of the LS was different. This sounds like a primary, most-of-your-time-in-game type shell - pretty fucked up imo. And of course, lol at wanting a piece to 'tank in merit parties', esecially by sacrificing DD stats for enmity.

Its not about getting over it, we already have, i hold no ill fate against him. I wasnt even in the first group that went in, so i couldnt lot anyways.

The reason for the post was to get other feedback on a rule change. Since there was a suprisingly large support for not changing the rule in my ls.

I just wanted to make sure i wasnt going insane thinking this should be pld onry.

I'm guessing people don't want to make a rule out of it in order not to set a precedent on declaring certain items for certain jobs? I can understand that, and you probably shouldn't make a rule if its gonna disrupt the shell more than it helps. Went through the same thing ourselves when we made it so anyone with the points could lot whatever they wanted.

If you trust the person to be in your shell you should be able to trust them not to be a dick when lotting stuff. So in this case that trust was betrayed, but live and learn, and maybe don't invite the guy to go along on as many things in the future.

Turns out, this dynamis LS is NOT based off a HNMLS, which means the rules are rules.

Don't like the rules? Ask to have them changed. Denied? Then suck it up or find a new dynamis LS.

You have zero leverage to complain when you agreed to the rules by accepting an hourglass.
