I just choked on a little bile when I saw this amazing piece go to a Warrior over a Paladin. I believe this has the highest +Enmity stat of any piece of gear in the game; even that Bahamut's Mask has 'only' Enmity+8. This really is the ultimate body piece for PLD/NIN and I really think that your Dynamis rules should be modified for such an extraordinary piece of gear.

bitchest is hardly the term i'd use, the OP was the one who asked for people's opinions, as i recall the question was "should it be given to PLD or WAR?" and everyone else stated the obvious....PLD.

The original intent was to keep the LS and Kain out of the conversation, Kain was dragged in due to him posting his pic on KI.

The ONLY reason i posted was because i was confused that so many people in our LS felt otherwise and just wanted some personal resolution on what others felt. If i had trashed kain, or mentioned ANY names, i would agree with you. But is there ANYTHING wrong with me asking some other gamers what they think about a gaming decision in a completely ananomous situation?

Does their opinions make any difference on our LS? No.

Whatever the rules are or the situation is, assuming there isn't something major we don't know that was one hell of a greedy ass move. Whether it's truly a free lot or not, you think some people would have enough decency to think about someone other than themselves every so often. Lotting on a piece that serves absolutely no significant use for a WAR not in HNMs (vs it being one of _the_ best PLD pieces), and in addition to that taking a -1 piece that can’t even be used, is a perfect example of what’s wrong with most people today.

Dbums is a skilled group of good friends that i would say rivals the best dynamis LSs ouy there. This post was in no way a question of either them or kain's ability/loyalty/whatever, but was simply a poll on what people thought about a silly rule.

The problem I have with all of this is that it has basically villified a productive and dedicated member of the linkshell without anyone knowing any of the facts. First of all this is not a HNMLS run Dynamis, it is an open shell. Dynamisbums is the oldest Dynamis linkshell on the server and has been running relatively drama free since 2004. The member in question has come to 100 runs. According to our rules all hydra gear is free lot if it is equipable. Warrior -1 AF is open to any member who's upgrade job is set to warrior and has the legs AF piece, which he has. You can't make the same kind of distinctions that an HNMLS would make about gear because this is not an HNMLS. Rewards in this kind of system are based on linkshell participation, not individual job usefulness.
