Those dragons are D&D types; in recent times they've centralized the way their dragons appear, specifically defining their specific traits by subspecies in the 3e book Draconomicon. Handy for artists, and I suppose good for specific identification, but I always thought the "What color is the dragon?" "Blue." worked fine. Well, whatever.

i think those creatures are a type of crayfish, otherwise they are lobsters.
i can't think of any terrestrial crustacea of that size/shape although there probably are some woodlice in tropical regions which grow that large.

they might actually be trying to hide under the doritos packet rather than consume anything inside it, that would be normal behaviour for that subphylum.
