If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, the dots will remain only one color, pink.

However if you stare at the black "+" in the center, the moving dot turns to green.

Now, concentrate on the black "+" in the center of the picture.
After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see only a single green dot rotating.

It's amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don't disappear.
This should be proof enough, we don't always see what we think we see! Especially in our 60s!!

That's just beyond comprehension for me. Seriously he sat through probably 20+ hours of tattooing thinking: "Wow this is going to be badass" and spend 10min thinking about what to actually get. Think about this, he already had one arm done and said "Oh hell ya, do the other arm"

It's almost like spending months and months to get some video game item to show off and thinking about how cool it is, and spending 10 seconds deciding which to get and doing the last 99% the same as the first 1% because you "didn't know better" when you did the first 1%.

It's really a "Before effect" (lol at the naming)... an illussion our eyes create on the spot we are not focusing on

I don't know if you notice it or not... there is definitely some green artifact popped on the circle next to the circle disappeared

Fact is our eyes are sensitive to change on the spot we are not focusing on, but can not perceive the change in detail. If you have someone standing beside you, you probably will notice something even if they are doing slight fingers movement.
You can tell something is moving, but you can't tell which finger is moving
