Aurik, on 4th floor, were you able to kill any archaic gear? The small one were all warping the moment we approched them, and we couldnt kill any. Or are they just warping next to the big one? Also, how do you deal with them when you fight big one? Just train them away, or is there a better strategy? The 6-7 archaic gears destroyed us


I also wonder if there is any way to make the long bowed chariot weaker. That thing raped us so bad during the last 3minutes. Didnt have a lot of ppl left at that point tho.



Taking different path seem to give different monsters. I didnt see any scorpion on our path, but there was a ton of wamouras.
2nd floor wamoura dropped INT, MP (there was more)
3rd floor troll dropped agi and dex (and a few other stuff we had already)



Btw, someone should start another thread with item drop. It would help to have them gathered in one thread in the first post instead of spread in multiple post

Yeah, they seemed pretty slow, but they also deaggro? Guess I will do that next time

They walked at normal speed, but I was able to outrun them due to pathing errors. After a while they deaggroed.

Floor 1:

SE: puks (weapons)
NE: Ziz (Magic)
NW: Raptors (abilities)
SW: Bugards (SJ)

clearing any of the 4 makes a frog pop.
Zenists are in each hall, drops chest w/ 18 potions
Frogs drop 10 milk or 10 acc drinks

Floor 2:
NE: Draco lizards (Body, Ranged, Ring/earring, waste/back)
Clearing these popped mamool ja savant. Dropped several diff potions.
SE: Draco lizards (Hand, Body)
NW: Wyverns (skipped)
SW: Wyverns (skipped)

Trading a cell to a socket spawned a poroggo madame. Frog w/ charmga.

Floor 3: Mamools and an archaic rampart, ran passed to a portal

Floor 4: frogs and mamools.

on the 2nd floor of our zhayolm run back on monday we found a targetable "slot" nfc what its for. Didn't try trading anything, because no one was thinking >.>; When we touched it it said something funny about hearing sounds below you. idk best i can recall sorry. Doing zhayolm again tonight so I'll hopefully have better info later.

edit: People I have talked to are thinking "put card in slot kinda thing".

done 2 salvage, 1st one was exploratory but managed to go in deep never wiped and got the jist of it. Last night we went in with 14 had great success got the war pld drk feet to drop and the morrigan feet to drop. Morrigan was drop from a wamoura and the Ares feet was from a troll. Did the Bhau thickets one both times. Made it to the Chariot but needless to say got owned. Need more people to farm faster and get fully unlocked.

I'm going to try a new strats today, and aim straigth for ability/magic mbos on first floor. Kill 3-4 weapons mob ---> run to magic/ability, then run back to armors. Farming weapon/armor early take way too much time,

For those that got to the boss of Bhaflau, how far down did you take him? We were able to push him down to about 70% I think with 14 people. Everything but his AoE is blinkable it looked like, but we didn't really have any NINs with us. He moves faster than w.leg PLD, so kiting isn't really an option. Melee dmg seemed to do a whole lot of nothing to him. We only had one BLM, but his dmg was inconsistant, ranging from 38-400 or so. I didn't know about the cards that Wafik found though. Perhaps those have something to do with weakening the boss. Hopefully we give it another go after Limbus tonight.

My only thunder 4 did 30dmg. Melee did a little more, but was still bad. I think popping NM on previous floor might weaken it or something, cause its retarded atm

Well seeing as how eve already ganked post from our forums the only thing really needs commenting is the socket on the second floor.

There's a total of three sockets NE, NW, and SW basically what it does is you trade a cell to it and it pops a bluish/red frog that uses charmga along with other frog shit. After we killed it, it dropped two cells of the ones we traded to spawn it. Due to charmga however, it's not really worth it to kill the frogs, they're unstunnable except by blu and my tier 4 did 0 dmg on it(barring fact I was at 40 int, I did have body, back, hands and waist items though).

Oh yea and waist unlock cell also unlocks back items, don't think it was mentioned but anyone that does salvage probably knows;x

If that frog weakens boss then I'd call it worth it. This'll probably get tested soon I bet.

Looks like that frog boss doesn't do anything aside from duplicate cells. So for example you get a Magic cell and you really need another, you trade it and dupe them.

@ Kaylia - I noticed that too, I have a feeling the names are swapped around, because Zhayolm having mamools, and Bhaflau having Trolls, wtf? lol.

Forgot to add that boss, Thunder3 did 14 dmg to him, Blizzard3 did 266. Our blms were reporting that thunder is junk, but all the other spells are good (remember when SE said they'll add more thunder resistant mobs?)

Yeah, it's possible thunder resist. It's just a blm habbit for me to start with thunder spell, and I died before trying the rest. With khimaira, those mobs, ice is gonna become the main spell soon. Not that it matter much, they are generally easier to land with staff +15ele.

I'm guessing the entire Archaic family of mobs is resistant to Thunder. Fighting Archaic Gear and Gears yesterday with most of my equipment unlocked I got one T4 off for full damage (1k) the rest were resisted out of maybe a half-dozen or so nukes. Blizzard seemed to have little trouble landing for full. Not enough really to say anything conclusive in itself, though, but figured I'd mention it.

We just did zhalom, killed a few gears in the first room and got the zhaylom card. Sac'd a bunch of shit, went past the chariot, and went on to the next floor. That floor has 3 ramparts and 1 chariot and nothing else. We killed 1 rampart, and others didn't depop. Ran out of time after that. We haven't gotten a single peice of armor from doing this twice.

edit: also i got feet cell used it and nothing happened. This happen to anyone else on any of these items? Probably just a flitch i imagine, but ended up messing us up cuz couldnt use powder boots.
