Salvage!

We did one Bhaflau remnants with a thf and one Zhayolm without any thfs and noticed a lot less drop rate on the cells. Bhaflau mobs dropped some on each kill, but in zhayolm we we're getting several mobs dropping nothing. Could it be some zones just stingier than others or does TH really make a big difference?

We were getting exactly 3 per kill with 8 people in Silver Seas, no THF.

But then again in some rooms, they didn't drop any, but most of them dropped 3. We only did the first and second floor.

I too would like to see the source, but it sounds like that would make sense, at least to SE. My LS is going to be going after NM's daily so hopefully we can confirm (and get me Skadi legs lawl)

Anyone killed the megabosses yet? Got Longbow Chariot down to 23% with 12 today, for some reason can't get a group of 18 in our ls to go at one time.

We got the Silver Sea boss down to 85% with 7 people. It doesn't really seem like it would be very hard with a full alliance of reasonably competent people.

That said, I'm afraid to see what happens when they reach 20% health.

Has anyone gotten to the seventh floor in Zhayolm? We've run out of time twice on the sixth, now have a better idea of what to do and how to cut down time so hopefully tomorrow we'll clear the tank on the sixth floor and at least get to see the boss.

Has anyone gotten any of the body pieces to drop yet? My LS is sticking with Bhaflau til we beat it so haven't gotten a chance to explore any of the other zones yet. Probably gonna have to wait til after the Christmas weekend to take another shot at it though

Anyone killed the Captain on the first floor of silversea remnant? We wiped to it and his 50 fomor earlier (could have won easily, but we were not expecting that kind of link)

what captain? weve done silver seas 3-4 times and never noticed a captain in what I assume is the respawning room?

There was an NM that popped in the second-to-last room of the first floor if you take the west path. There's a room with maybe 7 crew all standing together in the middle. They all link when pulled so I just sacced them a few times because there's nothing else for a BLM without magic to do lol. When you clear them all he pops. Nothing dropped from him for us.

The very last room, (one before the portal, same no matter which path you take), has a ton of fomor that repop but we usually just sneak past them after our first run because they didn't have a 100% drop rate on cells. Never saw an NM in that room, though.

nope we havent cleared 6th floor yet, got it to 6% last night, but due to some mistakes alot of cells and shit went to waste ;/

I assume the bosses drop all the good shit, and what you do leading up to the boss determines the drops

Juliano and I spent a bunch of time over FM's last three Zhayolm runs to take detailed notes (or as detailed as we could while trying to kill things) and put them onto maps. I'm linking the first six floors below - hopefully my website's bandwidth will survive.

For the first floor, in addition to specific cells each mob drops, each type of mob also has the chance of dropping a cell not specific to them. Like we got magic off a buggard and magic off raptor before too but it should be assumed after you clear ziz you won't get any more magic so as to allocate your cells properly.

For the fourth floor, for our ls and another ls on our server the second rampart was the key to unlocking the portal, this has held true for all our runs. If you kill the others they don't send you back to the starting as someone reported but they won't unlock the port up.

Also got zhayolm card for 5th floor as well. Everything else looks pretty much dead on though, thanks for marking the maps and stuff it really helps to give people a visual instead of telling them what's where.

our 1st run it was the 1st rampert. We kill it and all the others depopped. Last night's run was interesting though. We killed the 3rd rampert first to change things up. None of the ramperts depopped. We then kill the first then the second and then the fourth and after they all died the portal to the next floor opened. So i am assuming that if you don't guess right you just have to kill them all in order to procede.


Note: this hurt time a lot.
