I had one shatter on me first try warping to sky. I thought it was because you had to register @ two spots in Ru'Ann (the Kirin AND MG side). I rechipped the broken mea teleporter and proceeded to sky, only to learn that only one of the Green Ru'Ann teleports could be registered. I guess it was just a fluke, but would like more information on chip breaks.
everything I've read seems to indicate that if you take the time to chip all 3 crags, you won't see breaks.
After you trade all 3 chips and title and been to sky ,do you still need trade chip to the craiqs to warp to sky or back ? or is it then keyitem accepted and just click away ?Originally Posted by Genosync
Hold on I'm confused. If you're retarded, please don't post here.
What I've done so far is traded the chips to the three crags, changed my title, and I'm on the way to the teleporter now.
From what I'm gathering though, the chips have a chance of breaking upon use, but not if you do all three crags first? So am I in the clear? Really hope I didn't just blow 63k on a one time use type of thing..
Edit: Went to the teleporter, told me data registered, but no key item or anything.
I don't know, but you spelt "positive" wrong in your signature.Originally Posted by Totien
You don't get a key item, and you don't break your chips when you trade it, only when you port. (At least, that's what I've gathered from this thread) Also, as to how often it breaks is still yet a mystery.
The only thing that particularly disappoints me with these portals is that they're one-way. You can only go up to Tu'Lia, not back down.![]()
And you know "spelt" is a grain, right?Originally Posted by Siegtaru

Does only a clear chip work, or is that just what the first guy to figure it out used, and therefore what was written in all the guides?
The CS indicates that there were a few clear hexagonal chip, one is missing in the pattern.
I'm thinking it's clear onry.
In the English language, it's also the past tense of the verb 'spell', although Americans would have you believe otherwise.Originally Posted by Epical

But yes, it can be spelt "spelled" or "spelt." Same meaning.![]()

Spelt is the original, proper past tense use of the verb spell. Spelled is an American-English addition. Obviously they have the same meaning, but American-English seems to steamroll over the subtle nuances of the proper English language.Originally Posted by Siegtaru
"Proper" in this case being spelt from spell, in the same vein as telt from tell?
That's a pretty damn "subtle nuance".
Point being that neologisms, once they're over 100 years old, are just one of those things, y'know? Live and let live, I'm fine with, but live and get people telling me I'm living wrong, that ain't so nice![]()
does this need to be stickied?
I fixed all 3 crags and haven't seen a break yet after 5-6 uses.
I'm not telling you you're living wrong; 2 people flamed somebody else for using perfectly acceptable English. I resent the Americanisation of the English language.Originally Posted by StaplerGuy
