that doesnt seem like a problem.. it makes complete sense since the % is based off of the total damage done since the start of the parse
if you want to add a new person since someone left, just restart the parse?

Yea. This is the ONLY way to have meaningful parse results. if you don't do this, and you remove the guy who left, then you'll end up with something likeOriginally Posted by Dammerung

Player B - 30%
Player C - 30%
Player D - 10%
Still meaningless, but now for a different reason than the one the person mentioned. Everyone has to be on equal footing the whole time to have a valid comparison. Eventually I'll implement a DoT column that measures how much damage you're doing per second, then you can still measure your performance against people who have been in the party much longer or shorter than you.
Should make a MEGADOTCOUNTER THAT TELLS HOW MUCH CHOKE/BURN/SHOCK ARE DOING AT ALL TIMES K OK
I thought about that, but someone told me that you never get the chat log message that one of those wore off unless you're the person who cast the spell.Originally Posted by Zalius

What if I'm ALREADY parsing on PUP? What then?!Originally Posted by divisortheory
There's also the issue of the dmg/tick increasing depending on the casters INT, so you'd have to somehow know that too.Originally Posted by divisortheory
Would it be possible to make a Defensive parser mod or update that records damage taken, damage healed, shadows used, average damage taken per hit [of hits not blinked], shield blocks/rate, parry blocks/rate, and evasion?
not exactly a merit parser data, but it would help people on tank builds.
It's one of those things I wanna add, just haven't had time.
I gotta take filters off so I can see everything amirite
yea, all filters off

I thought I read that, but that explains why it wasen't working.
It's a great idea and i'm looking forward to filtered parsing![]()
Can't figure out how to save parser. File > Export parse is greyed out.
I stopped parsing and its just sitting here, not letting me save it, someone help me out?
If you registered here just to ask that question, you could have registered at the actual parser forum to ask questions (which has been said several times by the creator is the preferred method).
The parse has to be active in order to export, just select "continue parse" and choose the appropriate dvss file if you already stopped parsing.
